The convenient location of this sunny, cozy condo offers everything you will need for a relaxing getaway. Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony while breathing in the coastal air. You may catch a glimpse of otters, ducks, and cranes. The living room serves a dual role - as a normal gathering place for chatting or watching TV, or as another sleeping area with the Murphy bed. The full kitchen is equipped with all the appliances and counter space you will need to prepare a delicious meal. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Great quiet beach location

Had a great time at Wish You Were Here, easy beach access even on a busy day it doesn't seem like a lot of people are on the beach. Nice condo with everything you need.

Great little respite!

We loved the coziness of this third floor room and spent lots of time out on the deck just taking in the beach scenery and people watching. The house has lots of little amenities, dishware, towels, etc. and having two bathrooms is a definite plus. It is close to a lot of other coastal places too, so we enjoyed day trips to Lincoln City, Pacific City, Newport, and Depoe Bay. Would definitely stay again, particularly at the price.

So many great memories

I loved the comfort and aura of the condo. I loved that I could sit outside on the balcony and experience the ocean. I loved the memories that I made with my aunt and stepsister.

Worst experience EVER! Renters beware: This unit is NOT ADA accessible.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with Vacasa! I rented this unit for my daughter and I as a fun weekend at the beach. She has serious medical conditions and walks with a cane. When we arrived at this unit we discovered that not only was it on the 3rd floor, but that there was NO elevator! As soon as we arrived I called Vacasa to see what could be done. I was told by the first representative that I would be called back in 15 minutes with either a new place to stay for the weekend or a possible refund. After 45 minutes and no return call, I called again and got a new person on the phone. She was extremely empathetic to my situation and looked into it. She returned to the phone with a message that stated that because the listing for this property did not specifically say that it was ADA accessible or that it had an elevator, they were not liable and would not be relocating me or offering me any kind of refund. The woman on the phone was as stunned at this response as I was. I have never had a situation like this. My daughter and I had to turn around and go home (2 and a half hours away). It was humiliating and infuriating. I am shocked that Vacasa treated us so badly. I have rented from them many times in the past, and after this nightmare - they may have lost a customer. The unit was cute, and had a nice view of the beach - but after the way we were treated we couldn't get out of there fast enough! Extremely disappointed . . .

Comfy, clean and an amazing view

This place was wonderful. It was clean and the furnishings made for a comfy stay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. The resort grocery store was pricey but it had everything we needed until we could go out of town for groceries. It was fun walking on the beach around Proposal Rock. We also went on an amazing hike nearby that had ocean views. We got to go to Portland, the Tillamook plant, and Lincoln City too—it just provided a great jumping point to many points of interest. We definitely recommend staying here!

False advertising

Unit was not handicapped accessible and this was not mentioned in the ad. Could not negotiate 3 flights of steep stairs. Vacasa refused to refund my money.

Our Birthday/Labor Day Vacation at the Neskowin Condominium

Overall, we were very pleased with the condominium's cleanliness and amenities. The location was excellent because it was so close to the ocean and the lovely beach. There is also a restaurant and coffee shop that are only a few minutes away. The only issues that we had with the condominium was there was No Air Conditioner and just a very old, dirty and dusty box fan which made us cough and sneeze at night when we were forced to use it. I almost purchased a fan just so we wouldn't have to use the disgusting one that was provided in the condominium. The other minor issue that we had was that we were only provided with 1 - garbage bag and 1 - facial tissue. We wanted to hall our garbage out to the dumpster which was conveniently located right by the parking lot. Other than the dirty, disgusting, box fan and lack of air conditioning the condominium, and its location was great!

Place was dirty. Remnants from previous visitors were evident and visible. Peanuts on the floor, sticky floor, food particles in the silverware trays, sand on the sofa, sand on the 2 of the seats on the balcony and there was dirt and hair in the corner of the bathroom. All of which I had to clean myself before we could even unpack after driving 10.5 hours to get there.

Perfect little place by the water

Wish You Were Here was such a sweet and clean condo that I loved staying in for 5 nights during an art workshop. I wish I had more time there each day, but I loved waking up and coming home to the beach. Lots of personal touches too in case you forgot anything. It's like staying in someone's home.
