Great home for a family stay, convenient location to areas all around Georgetown. Like many homes in the area there are several stairs throughout the property, Iâd love to see more grab bars on the stairs for those with disabilities.
House was perfect! There were 6 adults and the space was just great! Great location for us! Front porch was nice to sit on in the evening and morning with coffee! Stocked with everything we needed. Couldnât have had a more enjoyable weekend!
Perfect house for our family stay. We were in town for a wedding and it was so convenient to be able to walk to the venue and restaurants in historic Georgetown.
Even though there was a crazy super cold snap when we were in town, we really enjoyed our stay in this home. The remodel that was done was very well done (we are in construction) and the design details were lovely. Great and efficient layout - single level (few stairs to sun room/bedroom). Kitchen was well equipped and great coffee bar. Bathrooms were great (no shower curtains was a huge plus). We didn't get to go outside because of the frigid weather but it's definitely walkable to restaurants and coffee etc. It is literally 2 doors down from a wonderful local italian restaurant that we could have eaten at every night! We made a couple of small recommendations to the manager/owner and they were very well received. Our only real complaint was that the memory foam beds were very, very firm... for our group, too firm. Beds are definitely a personal preference. Great house, we would stay here again.
Stayed in Georgetown for our sonâs wedding. Perfect location. It was great to be close to the square and we enjoyed the lovely porch to enjoy our morning coffee and evening glass of wine.
Farmhouse meats, mid century modern in Georgetown, Texas.
Stayed from December 14 to December 17, 2024 for our sonâs wedding in Georgetown. Tx. The house was fantastic! It fit nine of us easily, was super cute and super fun. Nicely updated and very clean. We hung out on the front porch, kitchen and backyard pavilion. There was a TV in every room and the three bathrooms really helped our group. The house is just 4 blocks south of Georgetown square. This was one of the best VRBO properties we have stayed in and would stay here again..
Location is perfect to get to the square. Everyone in the family had their own bed, and we had space to spread out as well as space for alone time. Kitchen needs to be restocked with utensils, primary shower drains very slowly and encountered several dead and alive large bugs in the house.
Girls trip for a training. House was super cute and manager was very prompt with answering questions. Would highly recommend. Beds were so comfortable!!!!
Very nice house, well equipped, very comfortable beds, and close to town. We had to be careful when in the master shower because it drains very slowly. Loved sitting on the front porch
We lived in GT for almost 15 years and our daughter decided that it was where she wanted to get married. We needed a place to stay that was clean and easy for our family to get to. This house was perfect! Just the right size, love the 3 full bathrooms and the beds were perfect and comfortable. We loved what they did to this house to make it easy for those coming in. The only negative would be no street parking.
The house was perfect for the four of us "ladies of a certain age" -- bedrooms for all and roomy, comfy gathering spaces. Kitchen was great as well although we didn't do any cooking. The small issue w/ the TV was fixed almost immediately by the owner who was so very nice! Small issue with getting in but that may have been more "us"--there was a lockbox as well as a combination lock on the front door. We were trying to use the lockbox instead of the combination lock on the door. We all loved the house and wouldn't hesitate to book it again.
Whenever I book a property for my family, my first consideration is always getting a bed for each child and at least 2 bathrooms, but preferably 3 since we have both boys and a girl! This home is so well laid out and it was minutes from a tournament my children were participating in. We've never visited Georgetown before and so I thought I'd take a chance and book this property that is within walking distance to the town square since we would be staying for 5 days and let me tell you, I am so glad I booked here!
The first morning of our stay, we walked down to 309 Coffee which is just past the town square and spotted some lovely patches of poppies on our way back (go in March to see the poppies!). We drove into Austin for the day to tour the Capitol and see some other sights which is only about a 30 minute drive. We stayed mostly in the vicinity of the town square for the remaining time we spent there and there is no shortage of wonderful restaurants to eat at, cute shops and other activities close by - we walked to almost everything we did!
The home was so thoughtfully crafted for guests and each room was comfortable. My kids thought this was the "best VRBO we've ever stayed in" - they each had their own bed and a bathroom for the boys and a bathroom for the girl. They each had TVs in their rooms which was great for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing and touring around the area. As parents, we had our own suite on the other side of the house that was tucked away with our own adjoining bathroom. We had plenty of space to store our things and lived very comfortably for the 5 days we spent there. We would definitely stay again and hope to return for another trip to Georgetown one day! Thank you for all of the thought you put into this rental!
The pros: The house itself was as pictured, although a bit more rustic than we had thought. House was easily accessible and well-appointed. Reasonably clean.
The cons: At least one of the bedroom doors would not close all the way. The biggest con was that the front door âsmartâ lock kept automatically unlocking one night. We ended up taking the batteries out so that it would stay locked. I notified the property manager and we agreed that she would have the door fixed after our stay since it was not an emergency. One day while we were out, however, the owner came into the house without our knowledge and fixed the door. He was at minimum in the front room and kitchen; who knows where else. It was quite unnerving to return to find that our space had been entered without agreeing to this- this is against policy. The property manager apologized but frankly, that doesnât seem quite enough. I didnât hear a thing from the owner, despite he being the perpetrator of this invasion of privacy/ breach of contract. In summary, I wouldnât seek out his vrbo again due to the fact that the owner came into the home without our knowledge. This was a new property on vrbo and perhaps the owner doesnât know the rules, but I wouldnât risk being in that situation again considering we had small children in our group.
We rented for our son and his groomsmen for his wedding in Georgetown . The house was in a perfect location. Lots of room to spread out and outdoor area to enjoy. Perfect for the weekend . Thank you so much
I booked this for my parents (80) and my family of 5, with 3 boys in their 20s. The accommodations were perfect for us. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and the location was great, only a couple blocks from town square. We were able to walk to everything!
