Everything was fine on the inside except shower head in bathroom closes to the road had fallen in some behind wall. It shoots out almost straight to the back of tub. Water gets hot quick everywhere which is nice. All outside lights was not in working order as pictured. No swing or golf ball collector thing as pictured. It's pitch dark outside trying to get in the front door. It poured down rain the first night and I was trying to get to the porch and trying not to trip over the stepping stones. The outside light doesn't come on unless your basically right under it. No awning or nothing I got soaked. Firepit was nice. I brought my own wood, but there's plenty of stores nearby that sells wood.

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about these things. I’m glad to hear that everything was fine inside and that you enjoyed the firepit and had plenty of hot water. I’m especially sorry about the issues with the outside lighting and the rain your first night. I can certainly understand how difficult and frustrating it would be trying to get to the front door in the dark while carrying things and trying not to trip on the stepping stones, especially without an awning to keep you dry. I also appreciate you pointing out the shower head. We’ll have that checked and repaired so it’s not spraying toward the back of the tub. Thank you again for staying with us and for letting us know how we can improve. We hope you’ll consider staying with us again in the future.

We had a great stay at this location. It has multiple boat ramps to KY lake in the area. I look forward to staying here again.

Everything was as described in the listing. Joe and Sharon are great hosts. If you ask, Joe will give you great fishing tips for the small lake behind the home or the big lake down the road. The small stores within walking distance have basic fishing gear, live minnows and worms. The pond behind the main store is catch and release. The small lake behind the home is full of a variety of fish!

we had a wonderful little getaway, the place was very clean and tidy and had a warm and welcoming feel. The host was quick to respond to any messages and i felt like the posting was an accurate representation of the property. definitely would recommend!

Great find! Comfortable and super clean

Highly recommend this gem of a place. Nothing super fancy but smells so nice, very clean and comfortable. The owner was so easy to communicate with and extra accommodating when we needed an extra night. Will be back when we visit the area again. Thanks so much!!

Musical retreat

We had a very enjoyable stay. The place was clean, the kitchen fully stocked with dishes and cookware. Beautiful view from the back deck. Roasting hot dogs and marshmallows for our dinner one night using the fire pit and supplied wood was particularly memorable. We were able to record some videos of our music with the lovely lake as a backdrop. The only issue was the bathtub. With two of us mobility challenged it was difficult getting in and out of the tub. One thought might be to install a clamp on over the edge rail. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed ourselves very much.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! We had a couple of vapers, so we spent a lot of time outside on the back deck. Now you are close to your neighbors. Unfortunately, my crew's voices carry, and I hope they didn't disturb anyone. I was sad that my girls and I couldn't play in the pond, but I totally understand. My husband and I had a great time fishing and caught 12 bluegill. It is a trailer and was not glamorous, but it was what I expected. It was very cute with personal touches like the painted stained-glass windows. My husband and I plan on remembering this place for a future trip.
