The house is located close to Kentucky Lake only 1.5 miles from a public boat ramp with easy access to fishing and plenty of parking. The house is in a country setting, quiet where you can watch beautiful sunsets, see deer and relax away from the busy city life. It is quiet and private. The house comes with a queen size bed with memory foam mattress, a couch and cot for additional sleeping arrangements. There is a fully stocked kitchen for longer stays. Enjoy a country view while you eat your meal by the fire pit or on the front porch. There is a full size bath combo and instant hot water heater for your comfort. A washer and dryer on site and outdoor security camera.
Everything was as described in the listing. We appreciated having all of the amenities available to us including the use of the washer and dryer. We appreciated there was coffee for the Keurig, little chocolates and microwave popcorn for our use, as well as towels and the beds were already made with clean sheets. We didnât know there was a small cot which would be nice if you had a child traveling with you (we were just two adults on our trip). The mattress seemed new and was nice and comfortable (too soft for me, but thatâs a personal preference). The bathtub was nice and clean. We also appreciated that the outside lights were on as we arrived in later in the evening.
The location was great for why we were there (my brother's graveside service), but took a while to cool down because it was hot those days...in the 90's. Other than that, the place was perfect! Had everything we needed.
The not so, "Tiny House" was wonderful. It was equipped with everything you needed. It was private and close to the lake (if that is the reason you book the location) For me, it was too far from our relatives who live south of Paris. Ginger was always accessible when we needed her. Prior to arriving, I wish I clarified the check in process better. The lock box was on the back door, not the front. (I understand this for security reasons) I would recommend this home to anyone. It was great.
