Beautiful location and great base for our golf trip. There were 8 of us and had to share rooms but very large rooms didn’t make it feel too crowded. Drive to course wasn’t bad. We liked eating in more than out because of the commute and used Monica and Ciana for catering. They were great. Would stay here again.

The best holiday getaway

My close friends and I decided to stay at Seawinds for the 4th of July weekend and it was nothing short of incredible. With a spacious home, incredible views and endless memories we will most definitely be returning to this vacation home in the future!! The most spectacular place for a big group, absolutely amazing. Extremely welcoming and very tidy. Great for any family or group of friends!

First I have to say working with Monica and Ciana was an exceptional experience. They were quick to respond to any of our concerns and comments. Especially when a couple of bathrooms ran out of TP! We had them cater us a seafood dinner. What an amazing spread of food. Just when we thought we were done, out comes another course! Fantastic! The house was amazing! Everyone was surprised and couldn’t believe the house and location. We were treated to whales spouting everyday. At one point there were so many, I thought every whale in the ocean was near us! We had an amazing time and the house, location and everyone we were in contact with including you made this the best trip ever.All of the guys want to do it again next year if the house is available! Good luck selling the property and for our own selfish reasons we hope it doesn’t sell right away! lol! Thanks again!

From the moment we arrived, this property exceeded all expectations. The scenic drive through a peaceful forest sets the tone for what’s to come, and as you round the final corner, you’re met with breathtaking views of the ocean and an impressive, beautifully designed home.The house itself is stunning—floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views of the waves, and the large brick fireplace creates a warm, resort-like atmosphere. Every room is spacious, tastefully furnished, and offers its own view of the ocean, making the entire home feel luxurious yet comfortable.The home was immaculately clean and thoughtfully prepared. It easily accommodated our large family group, giving everyone both space and a sense of togetherness. We made so many wonderful memories here and are already looking forward to returning. This property is truly a gem on the Oregon coast.

Seawinds Estate

Seawinds Estates provided the perfect backdrop for our guys’ golf trip near Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. This cliff-top home offers stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean that left us in awe. The large bedrooms were a highlight, providing ample space for all of us to unwind after long days on the course. Each room was thoughtfully designed, ensuring comfort and privacy while still allowing us to enjoy the spectacular scenery from our windows. One of the best features was the private beach just a short walk from the house. We also loved gathering around the fire pit in the evenings, sharing stories and enjoying the ocean breeze under an insane blanket of stars. The proximity to Bandon Dunes was fantastic, making it easy for us to access some of the best golf courses in the world. After a day filled with great shots and friendly competition, coming back to Seawinds to relax was exactly what we needed. Overall, Seawinds is an outstanding choice for a golf getaway. With its breathtaking views, spacious accommodations, and the added charm of a private beach, it’s a destination we’re eager to revisit. Highly recommended for any group looking to combine golf with relaxation in a stunning coastal setting.

Nothing like it! Gorgeous one-of-a-kind Escape

I have been all over the world. This property is the most incredible place I've ever stayed. Hands down. Everything about it was spectacular --the house, the grounds, the view, the beach, even the management! The house is somehow both luxurious spacious and cozy. Normally, I'm antsy to get out and explore, but I was totally content to curl up in one of the many nooks and relax. Panoramic views of both sides of the coastline and ocean. Every room has gorgeous view. The grounds have been meticulous maintained. We explored the paths. The whole time my kids were like "This is so magical!" And don't get me started on the beach. It's stunning. Absolutely pristine. We had the whole beach to ourselves the entire stay. It's the perfect escape away from the world. We're already trying to plan a way to go back. Can't recommend it enough!

An Epic Golf Escape on the Oregon Coast

From the minute you drive through the tall green forest towards this amazing property you know you are about to experience something special. When you make the final turn through the clearing into the house drive way the view takes your breath away. I scheduled an epic golf trip to Bandon Dunes for a group of golf buddies. Little did I know that the world class golf would be secondary to this amazing property. The house is simply amazing and the panoramic views of the coastline, cliffs, and crashing waves from 100 feet above the water was breathtaking. From the huge stone fireplace in the main entry to large gourmet kitchen and and the beautiful well appointed bedrooms with multiple king and queen beds it was easy to see what makes this estate the destination of choice for any group wanting a truly epic trip of any kind to this beautiful coastal haven. The communications I had with the owners, caretakers and housekeepers were all friendly, prompt and very helpful. Don’t miss the chance to experience this special slice of heaven for a truly epic trip to Bandon Dunes.

Incredible family weekend at the ocean

We had an amazing time at Seawinds. We are a three-generation family with children from ages 13 down to infant. We live in land-locked Colorado and love to get to the Pacific Ocean whenever we can, to relish the waves and wind, and also to spend time together without distractions. This house was perfect for our needs. Its location high on ocean bluffs could not be beat. There are many paths leading from the house to different ocean overlooks. We were charmed to discover unique wooden benches with perfect ocean views at the end of each path. Each overlook, and indeed each window of the house, has a unique view of the ocean and sea stacks below. We were fortunate to see two seals and a porpoise from the overlooks on the northern side, which was a highlight of our trip. The actual house is beautiful and unique. The bedrooms are all enormous, especially the bedroom on the northwestern corner of the house. Several grandchildren enjoyed sleeping in the loft. The great room is very large with several different seating areas, so we could all be together in the same room while enjoying different activities. Kevin, the owner, was very responsive and helpful during the booking process. Lloyd, the caretaker, lives down the road and was helpful during our stay. We had an incredible time and would love to come back to Seawinds!

The closest thing to heaven on earth we’ve ever experienced.

First and foremost, I would like to thank the owners of this spectacular piece of paradise for opening it up for us to visit! We have traveled all over the world and have never experienced anything quite like it. I brought my wife out here for her 60th birthday and never told her where we were going. Needless to say, as we made the last turn on the driveway, the beauty of the setting almost brought tears to her eyes. We were fortunate enough to spend seven magnificent nights here. For those reading this, I would like to share some of the wonderful things we experienced. We drove south on the coast through Brookings and saw the coastal redwoods. While not the largest trees in the world, they get the honor of being the tallest. They are truly amazing and worth a drive if you have never seen them. The town of Bandon is only 20 minutes away. We played 2 rounds of golf at Bandon Dunes. Amazing place. We also thoroughly enjoyed crabbing in the bay. What a riot! We rented gear at Tony’s Crab Shack and actually had him cook our crab for lunch. Delicious. More than anything, though, we enjoyed coming home to SeaWinds. Strolling the grounds of the property and visiting all the little bench areas was majestic. Spending the day walking the beach and finding sand dollars can wash away any cares. The setting of the house up on the cliff, and the views it offers is simply incredible. Lloyd, the caretaker was just that....he took care of everything. He built us a fire in the fireplace that was ready to light every night. We listened to waves, while the firewood snapped and cracked, probably the two most relaxing sounds in the world. As we pack up this evening to leave, one thought comes to mind: time is an infinite commodity that you can never get enough of. I feel the serenity of this place has added years to our lives, making the above statement false when you are blessed enough to be here. I hope everyone staying here has the same experience and build memories of a lifetime. We certainly did.

Gorgeous Sunsets

The views are absolutely stunning! The road to get to the estate is a 2 mile gravel road so be aware if you own a nice vehicle. The neighbors will report you if you drive over 15 mph on the road. The estate manager wasn’t available the day we checked in so her sister who also cleans the house checked us in. She then stayed behind to clean the fridge, fix some broken things (the shower head in the master bath popped off mid shower almost hitting me in the face!) and a sink was missing it’s turn knob making it difficult to turn it on. Lastly, she cleaned all the outside windows which meant while I was trying to enjoy the peace and quiet during sunset, instead of hearing ocean, I had to hear all the window washing in the background. They have a strict check out policy of 11am and if you leave late they’ll charge you for a full extra day! So, if you have to check out on time then why, if I checked in an hour later than normal, already loosing some of the precious time that I paid a lot for did I have to deal with a noisy cleaner for 3 more hours? I spent a LOT to get just 6 hours of time on my first day there before calling it a night. Three of those hours were disturbed by the cleaner. The day before my wedding I noticed two of the 3 propane tanks were empty in the garage and the 3rd one was barely full. When I called the cleaner, as the property manager was still unavailable to let her know we needed more propane I let her know we were going to take a tank into town to fill it since we we’re headed there for groceries. I asked that the money be refunded us since this was supposed to be available. She thanked me for doing this and said “I really don’t want to go into town unless I absolutely have to.” which shocked me and my sister. She did end up coming to fill them up several hours later. The morning after our wedding not only were my guests woken at 8am by the gardeners who took several hours to mow the lawn, I was also text at 9am by the cleaner letting us know we needed to promptly check out by 11am. Half awake we scrambled to find our reservation information and had to text them a screen shot that our check-out wasn’t until the following day. They then let us know it was a miss communication between the owners and them. We also had to strip all the bedding off the beds or they would have charged us! We will not rent this place again. Hoping to get a day refunded due to having to deal with cleaners for 3 hours of our first night there.

Hi Shoshana! I’m so sorry you were inconvenienced by the cleaners. This is a 75 acre oceanfront estate that requires an unbelievable amount of upkeep to make it perfect for our guests. I spoke with the cleaners and they said they were never asked to leave as they were cleaning the windows for you. They would have been happy to wash them another day had you mentioned to them that you were being bothered! They were just trying to make you happy! We do have 1x/ week lawn maintenance. Again, to keep the property looking it’s best, we must maintain the common grounds. Because the estate is booked almost every day during the summer, it is impossible to schedule preventive and regular maintenance while the property is vacant. It’s kind of like checking into a high end hotel or resort where you will come across gardeners and pool cleaners during the course of your stay. I hope you understand. Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 11am, as per our contract. We are happy to provide early check in and late check out as the schedule permits. Unfortunately, we had a quick turn on the day of your departure. Autumn, our property manager, was out with back surgery the day before your arrival. I’m sorry she wasn’t available to provide you with the full white glove treatment that she is trained to provide. I’m sure Courtney, her sister, did her best to help you, but hasn’t been trained by me in the personal handling of guests. It was her first experience doing anything other than housecleaning and I’m sorry about that. I am unaware of any added expense due to not stripping beds. That is certainly not the policy and I’m not sure who told you that. I’ll get to the bottom of it. I’m so happy you found the views stunning. It is an amazing property that requires constant upkeep to make it perfect. And we strive for perfection. Occasionally, we fall short and I personally apologize for that. I’m very sorry to hear that you won’t be returning. We did our best to please you, but we obviously fell short.

Great house on an amazing location!

You won't regret booking this home and it will surely be a lifetime memory once you visit. The property is stunning, in a forest, set on cliffs which go into the Pacific Ocean. A truly unique and special experience. Owner and logistics are all top notch.

Awesome property.

Excellent, but there are a number of items that are in disrepair. Some of which we were aware of as we checked in (sliding doors jammed), but would thinks items like toilet seats not be cracked, icemaker and inst-hot not functional should have have been addressed. Regardless, Autumb was exceptional and I would rent this property again.

Thanks for staying with us at Seawinds, Catherine! Yes….we try to make guests aware of any and all maintenance issues that pop up at the property. It is a very large space and with the calendar is full as it is, there are always items that need tending to. We have been on the calendar with Area Glass and Mirror for months to replace the rollers on several of the sliding glass doors. They are all custom ordered as the doors are huge and heavy. Supply side issues make it very difficult for timely replacement. I hope you understand. As far as the icemaker not working, this is the first we’ve heard of it. And we’ve never received complaints about a cracked toilet seat. But we will absolutely look into those immediately to get replaced. Amazing Views

First time for us to the Oregon Coast and it did not disappoint. Kevin (owner) and Amber (manager) we’re very attentive from the beginning and throughout our stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better view. There were only 10 of us and the house slept us more than comfortably. Enjoyed being “out there” (once turning off the main road, you travel down dirt and gravel roads (well groomed and could have taken any time of car) for a few miles until you arrived at the home. Great things to do and visit. We certainly ended up heading towards Bandon more than we did to Coos Bay. Would stay again for sure.

One of the most spectacular day drives in the United States is Pacific Hwy 101 south of Port Orford towards Brookings. Phenomenal. While you’re down there, drive into Northern California and visit the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. Not to be missed! While up in Coos, I hope you had a chance to visit Cape Arago State Park. Beautiful walks and views from the scenic headland jutting into the Pacific! We look forward to seeing you again soon! Kevin

This home was perfect for a golf weekend. The house description and photos of the area do not do the fantastic views justice. We already are planning our return next year.

Unbelievable View

Our group had an amazing stay at this property. The views were simply incredible. The rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. We wish we could have stayed much longer. Perfect place for a group golfing at Bandon Dunes.

Absolutely STUNNING property

Beautiful, one of a kind escape. We felt like royalty driving up to the estate, when the ocean peeks through the tall pines and the house comes into view it takes your breath away. You truly feel so special to be able to experience this. Away from it all, in the most spectacular, peaceful setting. The views from every bedroom, the comfortable seating just makes you want to sit down, soak it all in and enjoy. We stocked up on groceries and spent our time at the property and the beach, didn't see the need to leave...made our meals in the spacious kitchen with plenty of seating all while enjoying the setting sun. There are hidden outdoor seating areas to look out onto the ocean, make sure you find them! Lots of walking/trail/exploring/bird and nature opportunities for all ages. The interior is very spacious, well appointed with comfortable furniture and bedding. The living room is large, spacious, plenty of seating-couldn't decide to sit on the comfy chair, lay on the down sofa or sit by the fireplace. We even roasted S'mores in the huge wood burning fireplace, bring your marshmallows! I would leave the window open in the master bedroom and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. The mattresses were very comfortable to sleep on. I brought my shampoo but that was supplied in every bathroom. You could tell the attention to detail in every room. The kids loved to hang out in the loft area, where there are a couple twin beds and a large king sleeper sofa! All the furnishings were tasteful, well appointed and looked new. I was pleasantly surprised to find special touches like slippers waiting for us at the door; the kids took them home as mementos. Lots of puzzles, games to stay entertained. We didn't even turn on the television, but Direct TV was available. The beach was so well protected from wind chill that even on the colder day it was enjoyable; we felt like we had the beach to ourselves, rarely seeing anyone else there. I would love it if there was a hose outside by the garage to spray off our sandy feet when we got back from the beach, as a suggestion! I can only hope that we get the privilege to come visit again. Truly an unforgettable stay. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us.
