Summary:
Some houses are beautiful. Some are comfortable. This one is all that…. plus an adventure.
The Space:
Welcome to Secret Haven by the Sea: a welcoming 7-bedroom, 5-bath coastal retreat perched on the edge of the bay in Coos Bay, Oregon. This house is designed for one thing above all else: bringing people together in a place they'll never forget.
The views hit you first. Floor-to-ceiling windows on two levels frame the bay like a living painting, and the sunsets here are the kind that make everyone put their phones down and just... watch. The great room is anchored by a gorgeous glass fireplace, with a sectional sofa big enough that no one gets left out. Upstairs, the family room is just as generous: 85" TV, foosball, games, books, deep comfortable seating, and doors that open onto the deck where the firepit and the bay view are waiting. This is a house that's beautiful and welcoming at the same time. The kind of place you walk into and immediately relax.
But here's what makes Secret Haven truly unforgettable: somewhere in this house, there is a hidden door. Behind it lies a fully private garden suite with 2 bedrooms and a full bath. We've hidden clues throughout the home. It's up to your group to find them, solve them, and discover what's waiting on the other side. Most groups find it in about 30 mins. The laughter, the searching, the aha moment — it never gets old.
This is not just a vacation rental. It's a memory you'll be talking about for years.
(But don’t worry: if you’re weary from the journey, we've also left clear directions to the door in case you need to skip the search.)
Secret Haven sleeps 16 across 7 beautiful bedrooms: five kings, a queen, and a bunk playroom that children will immediately claim as their kingdom. The playroom has two cabin-style bunkbeds with Alexa-controlled cloud and moon lighting that transforms the room into whatever your imagination decides it should be tonight. With five full baths, even the biggest groups move through mornings without a bottleneck.
Outside, the house is just as generous. The upper deck has a gas firepit and comfortable lounge seating with nothing between you and the bay. This is where the late-night conversations happen, the ones that go longer than planned. Below, a covered deck with an outdoor kitchen, seafood cooking station, and outdoor dining area makes a fresh crab feast feel like the obvious choice. Watch planes take off from the regional airport across the water; somehow always a delight. The whole property sits in a private gated community, peaceful and unhurried.
The kitchen is fully equipped and built around a large quartz island that naturally becomes the center of everything; the place where people gather with coffee in the morning and linger with a glass of wine while dinner comes together. The kitchen has all the equipment needed to handle whatever the chef in your group is dreaming about.
And when you're ready to explore, Secret Haven puts you at the center of one of the most adventure-rich stretches of the Pacific Northwest. But the honest truth is that a lot of groups barely leave. The bay looks different every hour. The firepit runs late. The upstairs family room becomes headquarters. Someone is always starting another game, someone else is already back on the deck. The house has a way of holding people; pulling them toward the windows, back to the kitchen, out onto the deck again.
Secret Haven is built for families who want to do something together, not just near each other. For friend groups finally making that trip happen. For reunions and milestone birthdays and anniversaries that deserve a real setting. For anyone who wants their kids, or their own inner kid, to have a moment they'll carry with them.
The bay is beautiful. The house is special. And somewhere, a door is waiting to be found.
Come find it.
