A perfect location making it a breeze to get anywhere. Ramin was the consummate host, always available to answer questions and help us when needed. The apt was clean, a bit noisy at night due to the lungotevere marzio but we acclimated after one night and slept well. Beds were comfortable (no sagging!). Lots of dishes, glassware and a nespresso machine. We appreciated the salt, pepper, coffee, olive oil, vinegar and spices in the kitchen as well as plenty of toilet paper, dishwasher & laundry detergent, body wash and shampoo. The bldg itself is beautiful w/marble steps and an interior elevator. Its very secure. The apt has many quirks that we appreciated. There were many mirrors in the small primary bathroom, one w/ a handle. I thought it was a medicine cabinet. To my surprise it opened to an interior/exterior space that other apts had windows into too. Delightful! There are little steps up and down throughout the apt so one has to be mindful of those. The primary shower is small and has a step w/i it so not great for folks with mobility issues (the shower in the other bathroom is a walk in and more spacious). Ramin was kind enough to give us a long list of non-touristy restaurants. We tried several and they all were wonderful. I highly recommend Supplizio. You MUST try the Roman street food called "suppli". It is very basically fried rice balls - aka arancini - but so much more than that and some places offer different flavors. We will be back!
