Old House charm with modern convenience! The host responded to questions quickly, the property was kept, the location was perfect for exploring St. Charles. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a great stay in St. Charles. 703 South Main Street is the perfect location for walking to Main Street shops and restaurants and only about 25 minutes from downtown St. Louis. I highly recommend this property for those looking for a comfortable retreat in the historical setting of St. Charles.
Stay was good. Everything downtown walkable or quick uber ride. Shops closed early and that was annoying.Spiderweb in corner of ceiling. Shampoo conditioner was poor quality.
In town for a soccer tournament and we enjoyed the house its well equipped and parking spot was a plus to just park and enjoy the neighborhood after our day at the soccer fields. Do recommend.
Adorable place, centrally located on Main Street. The only minor comment is the pathway from the parking lot to the property. Very unstable. A true concrete or paver stone walkway would help when rolling in suitcases.
We stayed here while we were in town for Thanksgiving. This unit is perfectly located for enjoying Christmas Traditions and other activities on Main Street. We especially enjoyed the Wine Cafe on the lower level and the Bike Stop Cafe across the street.
Our place was in the perfect location on main street st charles and 3 mins from Lindenwood College. Place was cozy for our 5 afults and the place below us had a great seating area with wine and great food! Really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!
The property was clean and nicely stocked with everything my wife and I needed for a comfortable stay. We brought our two soft coated wheaten terrier dogs. The property listed as pet friendly, and we didnât experience any pet hair. St. Charles Main Street if very dog friendly.
We loved staying at Jeffrey's place! It was cute and comfortable with all the little extras that make a stay away from home hassle-free. The location was amazing! Main street is super cute and takes you back a couple hundred years. We also really enjoyed a leisurely stroll to the Lewis and Clark museum just a mere 10 minutes walk away. We would definitely stay at Jeffrey's place again!
Nice property, very nice location. We appreciated having coffee stocked! Only negatives are some street noise at times, and a remarkably small shower in the small bathroom. Might be a problem for a larger person.
Cute apartment above The Wine Cafe on Main Street in St Charles. Convenient off street parking in the back. Short strolls to all the locals restaurants and shops. Requested and was granted a late check out on Sunday. But, it fell through at the last minute by the owner. Left us scrambling a bit, but we managed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. It was the perfect location to be able to walk historic downtown, grab food and drinks and shop the cute shops. It is also close to the casino, airport, college and TopGolf.Pros: Location, location, location :) Booking and checkin-in process were simple with excellent communication. The dedicated parking spot was nice. The house was clean, warm and had all the amenities we needed. The TVs were easy to use and the WiFi information was readily available.Cons: accessibility if someone in your party has mobility issues. You have to walk down a short uneven path to get to the stairs to enter the unit. There are also additional stairs with a steeper, narrow staircase if you are going to use the second bedroom (we knew this before booking). There is only one bathroom and the shower is small (knew this before booking as well). The biggest downfall was the permanent smell of cooking grease the permeates the air in the entire house from the wine bar downstairs. Traffic and pedestrian noise might be an issue for some, especially in the warmer, busier months.
Great Location! Comfortable stay. Fantastic historic building and town! Easy to book, check-in/out
We enjoyed our long weekend stay at this house.
Pros: Booking and check-in and check-out were very easy and simple. Quick turnaround for questions. The beds were all comfortable and had nice sheets with a fantastic comforter. The kitchen has everything you need plus a Keurig and pods. 3 smart TVs for everyone to watch what they want. 1 parking spot in the back is earmarked for your unit. This is within a 10-minute walk to just about most restaurants in town and has adorable stores along the way. The river is across the street with a nice park and walking path.
Cons: the unit is not easily accessible if you have any walking issues as you have to walk through uneven grass/pavers and then go up about 12+ steps to get into the building plus the same to get upstairs to the 2nd bedroom. The bathroom is downstairs, small, and lacks sufficient shelving or cabinets to put your toiletries in (although there is a small medicine cabinet) or clothes on while changing. The upstairs was warm despite the window-unit air conditioner. There is a permanent smell of cooking grease upstairs from the wine bar downstairs.
