Great house for a long weekend girls trip. Close to many activities in St Charles and in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Host was very easy to contact. Would definitely stay again.
Perfect location everything we needed one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed one bedroom upstairs with a twin in a queen bed.bathrooms on both floors 2 roll away beds. A big thank you to The Host
We had a wonderful stay! Thank you! Worked out perfect for two couples. Great location so close to downtown St Charles and yet just a half hour or so from downtown attractions. The house was clean and had everything we needed.
Could use a lot more dishes and kitchenware. Matt was very responsive and easy to call with a door issue. Close to St Charles Main Street and good shopping, walking and restaurants.
We had a wonderful time! The house is comfortable and the two bathrooms were perfect for our small group. The bedding was so soft, it was hard to get out of bed in the morning! We used the gazebo every night!
The place was close to downtown historic St. Charles and was perfect for our two kids with the upstairs bedroom. We enjoyed eating meals outside in the screened-in gazebo. Check-in and check-out was super easy.
Overall, the house is nice. It was spacious enough to fit our family of 6 and the kitchen is equipped with all that we needed. It’s located in a nice area that is safe and quiet. Aside from the place needing cleaned better, we did enjoy our stay.
Great location and a lovely home. The host returned any questions or concerns immediately. Nice large living and dining room.I would definetly definetly stay here again.
The extras of this rental really set it above others we’ve stayed at. Comfortable and clean are always great to find, but the family friendly extras (high chair, games, snacks, etc.) were such lovely touches. A quiet street that was still walkable to plenty!
Great historic house! A little further away from St Louis than I expected but great neighborhood and lots of food option around. Amazing to be able to stay in something that was built in the 1800’s!
St. Charles is such a cute town, and the main street is located very close to this VRBO. Very family friendly place to visit. Matt responded quickly with any necessary communication while we were there.
Beautiful historic home. Lots of character, decor is so pretty! Room pictures are deceiving as the third sleeping space has to be the living room, which is fine if you don’t mind moving some furniture. The location is great and area has so much to see! The neighborhood is great for walks, gazebo perfect for coffee. Matt was responsive with any issues we had.
We absolutely loved our stay! Matt was super responsive and the house was so cute and perfect for our little Thanksgiving get away. We had everything we needed even when it snowed unexpectedly! We will definitely stay here again!
The host is very friendly and responsive. The home is very old and is located about 8 long blocks from the downtown district. The downstairs bedroom is very small and does not have a closet. The bathroom has only a small pedestal sink and no counter space. Both the bathroom and the bedroom open into the dining room. The upstairs room is at the top of a very steep set of stairs and has a low ceiling; it's only suitable for children, provided you are comfortable with children on such steep stairs. Gazebo is in poor condition and hasn’t been cleaned in quite some time. We use short-term rentals quite often and are used to some dirt, spiderwebs, etc. in homes but considering the odd layout of the house, its overall condition, and its distance from the main street, we wouldn’t stay here again.
This cute, clean, well stocked, historic home is within walking distance to Historic Main Street. The hosts are immediately responsive and provided a very nice coffee bar. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.
