The Cottage on Town Square is just 3 miles from Jamestown Resort & Marina. The town square in Jamestown Ky is undergoing a total makeover. The popular Reel Java restaurant, formerly located at Timberpointe Resort, has just relocated and is just steps out the front door of this totally new and remodeled space. Add to that the addition of another new restaurant, Snaps Soda Shop , The Jamestown Square is going to be the place to be this summer after you've enjoyed a fun-filled day on beautiful Lake Cumberland.

The Cottage on Town Square is designed for a family of 4-5. The front master/living area boasts a king size bed along with comfortable L-shaped couch, and a 65" TV. The back room has a twin bunk with 36" TV and a full bathroom. Think of a hotel room with an extra bunkroom. It's centrally located and convenient to everything you may need on your stay.

The Cottage on Town Square is unique in that it has a very large and private parking area for your boat in the back. Feel safe in knowing that your vehicle and boat are secure!

Perfect location!

I highly recommend Shawn and his property! He will do a great job accommodating all your needs. I unfortunately made a mistake when making my reservation and he was very understanding and helpful. We will definitely be booking with him agian!

Weekend getaway

Good location. Easy check in. Very helpful owner. Enjoyed the food at Reel Java. We needed a place to stay that was close to our boat storage. This apartment was very clean. We enjoyed a short hike in the Cumberland state park. Also spent an afternoon on the lake launching our boat at Wolf creek dam.

We had the best weekend. This place is so cute and clean. It is in the perfect location. Just steps to Java Reel (which we visited 4 times) and a few miles from Lake Cumberland. Shawn is the best host and so accommodating!

Perfect place for 2 for a short stay

This property was just what we needed for our short, two day trip to the lake. It was clean and offered what we needed for the amount of time we spent in doors. The owner was great to work with. And best of all, the Reel Java restaurant is steps away and we loved it. Great coffee, great food, delicious treats…just loved it. We will be staying here again hopefully.

Awesome property

We stayed for 1 night on our way home from Lake Cumberland. It was super clean, comfortable, affordable and loved the location. We def will be booking this more next summer when we come down to the lake! Coffee maker was broken in the room, so he left us a Gift card to the coffee shop/restaurant next door. We loved our stay here

Weekend at the lake

Super convenient short term rental in Jamestown. Great location with short drive to golf and lake recreation. Two nice restaurants just outside your door. Place was clean. Hosts had great communication. Accessible for person in our group w limited mobility. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Location in the Heart of Jamestown

We were very pleased with everything about The Cottage on the Square. Jamestown needs more updated rentals like this one. The convenience factor can not be overstated! Highly recommend this rental. It is unfortunate that the nearby Reel Java restaurant isn’t open Monday-Wednesday. It is probably the best dining option for miles in any direction. Cumberland Guitars next door is a great music store and worth a visit for any guitar/banjo/ukulele enthusiasts. Snaps Soda Shop is a frozen-in-time piece of Jamestown history that is a delightful place for a quick lunch (but closed Sun-Tues).

Very nice and convenient location , especially for food as we visited both Snaps and Reel Java, There were two minor issues you may need to attend to, the toilet keeps running as the tank is not sealing after the flush, and I had no luck with the Kureg side of the coffee maker it just ran cold water thru but Reek Java rescued me this morning, Thanks, The Holts

Quick, comfortable stay!

This was our second yime staying here and if we are back in the area we would definitely stay here again! Everything was very clean and the bed was so, so comfortable! Communication with the host was great and the location was perfect for our needs.

Comfortable

Newly updated accommodations. New, clean, private, nicely furnished, shower and towels are clean and fluffy, complimentary water and coffee. The initial price is higher than many places but this place is worth the extra money and each night is a low price so check this out. As An added bonus, you are within steps to 2 very different restaurants. Snaps takes you back to Grease or Happy Days and boy do they have delicious ice cream. Reel Java also has great food. It better quality food and have alcohol drinks. Marguaritas were yummy. Nice atmosphere in both restaurants and the my are part of the Town Square. We will stay again.

Great location and comfortable

This was a great location, just steps from a wonderful new restaurant. I was worried it might be loud because of the central location, but it was very quiet. It was easy to find and there was a great spot to park a boat. The owner was extremely helpful, even went to get sugar for coffee. The bed was very comfortable.

Perfect Cottage

The cottage was precious! Very clean, new and is exactly as pictured. Loved the private parking and very much enjoyed Reel Java just outside the front door. The complimentary drinks were much appreciated! Shawn was the perfect host. I would definitely recommend this rental to family and friends.

The Cottage used to be a retail business space. It has been an insurance office, Newspaper office, and even a beauty salon. There's so much history on the square and we're happy to add to it with our cozy little cottage. Also, you'll have your totally private parking in the rear of the property with plenty of room for your boat. (80ft long driveway)
