Dear potential guests,
I want to assure you that our home is equipped with an ample number of frying pans and pots. I was surprised to hear about the claim of having only “one rusty pan”; this is simply not the case.
Perhaps this guest couldn't locate them or looked in the wrong place, but they could have easily asked me if something was missing. We would have gladly provided them with additional cookware.
Additionally, our NEW pool heater is functioning perfectly. After the guests' departure, I personally checked the pool temperature, which was at 84 F, slightly above standard of 82 F.
I'm not sure; perhaps the guests were expecting us to heat the pool to 90 degrees...
Regarding the smoke detector, my husband confirmed its presence post-guests' stay. Initially, I acknowledged the absence of a smoke detector and apologized for it. However, upon further inspection, it was found that we indeed have one in our home, rendering the guest's complaint unjustified.
As for the carbon monoxide detector, we don't have one since our home operates solely on electricity.
Concerning the mattresses, I am surprised by these complaints as we have excellent ones, with positive feedback from previous guests. One of our mattresses is even brand new, purchased around 3-4 months ago.
The complaint about a dirty pool is unjustified as the guest arrived Sunday evening and our pool maintenance was scheduled for Monday morning. Despite this my husband came there Sunday evening and offered to clean the pool, because it was pretty windy day, resulting some leaves fell in the pool. He never said those words “he doesn’t have a time to clean the pool”. Opposite, he proposed his help with it . But the guests declined his offer, knowing the pool will be serviced the next day.
About no screen around the pool. We never promised a screen around the pool. This is clearly visible in all our pictures of the pool in our profile.
Before making a reservation, any guest is free to choose which house he wants to book, with or without a screen around the pool.
We deliberately do not install a screen around the pool because many people do not like to be in a cage during their vacation.
We never promised TVs in every bedroom, as evident in our home's description and pictures. We promised only one smart TV in the living room, which we provided.
We provided 8 bath towels and 8 beach towels (total 16), but if guests asked me for more towels, I would happily bring them more extra towels. However, when I asked if they were satisfied with everything and if everything was ok, the answer was: that everything is ok.
Regarding washcloths, they were not included in our offering. We consider toothbrushes and washcloths to be personal hygiene items.
In addition, our house is located a 6-minute drive from the beach, not 15))
I don’t know which beach the guests went to that they spent as much as 15 minutes for this.
However, since these guests expressed satisfaction throughout their stay and never requested additional items, such as pans or towels, I had no reason to suspect they required more than the provided amenities.
Despite all our efforts, we were unable to please these guests.
But be sure we strive to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay and promptly respond to any requests.
