Once past the kitchen you'll pass the full bathroom and enter another bedroom with a queen size bed that has a private exit to the hot tub area. This cabin is quiet and cozy but only 8 minutes to downtown Old Fort, 20 minutes to Black Mountain, and 35 minutes to Asheville.


Stay close to home and visit downtown Old Fort's quaint breweries to include Hillman Brewery, boasting river views and delicious burgers. Whaley Brewery right down the street can quench your thirst for a craft beer while relaxing on the lawn. Visit the historic Gateway Museum, Arrowhead Gallery and Studios, Black Beary's cafe and ice cream. Old Fort Ride House, Kitsbow, is open for an early breakfast, and maps for local hiking and biking. Curtis Creek is 19 minutes for hiking and fishing.

When you venture outside of town, Black Mountain and Asheville offer endless shopping, nightlife, and foodie delights for every heart's desire.
