Un bloc de la plage! Détendez-vous et écouter la brise dans les palmiers sur le pont avant couverte. Regarder les vagues à partir du pont arriÚre partiellement couverte avec salle à manger extérieure, un salon et des chaises longues. Plan d'étage ouvert avec salon, salle à manger et cuisine qui coule ensemble. Trois chambres à coucher (1 en bas et deux en haut) et deux salles de bains (une en bas et une place) avec couchage pour 8+. Profitez de la cuisine dans la cuisine entiÚrement équipée et moderne avec réfrigérateur cÎte à cÎte, casier à vin, des comptoirs en granit et l'ßle, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, plaque de cuisson lisse, four, cellier et laveuse / sécheuse. Au rez de chaussée vous pouvez faire griller sur le barbecue Weber, nettoyer le poisson dans l'évier extérieur, sieste dans le hamac, laver le sable sous la douche en plein air, et de recueillir les chaises de plage, glaciÚre et des jouets pour emmener à la plage. Votre maison de plage a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour une escapade de détente!

Close to the Beach was everything we needed to make our trip a memorable experience. One of the best stocked homes we have stayed in. Everything was provided and everything plentiful. The location was perfect, being able to sit on the back deck and watch the ocean waves was very relaxing. Our host met our needs and answered our questions quickly and efficiently. We definitely recommend this property if you are planning on a trip to Galveston Island. You won’t be disappointed.

The owner had prompt responses to communication. Check in directions were clear. The home was clean and comfortable. It was a short easy walk to the beach. Having beach equipment with wagons was so convenient and helpful. We had a great time in this well stocked beach house!

This was our fourth year here and we LOVED every minute, as always. The house feels like a home. There is literally everything you need for a beach stay
towels and toys and a stocked kitchen and more. Our family has grown through the years as we stayed and this year we were there with two grandchildren. Absolutely wonderful and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We didn’t bring our dog this year, but we have the past three times and it’s so dog friendly too. You cannot beat the location. Choose this house!

We had a wonderful time at Susan’s property which we have been renting for at least fifteen years. The kitchen is well equipped and the grandchildren can walk to the beach in under two minutes. We will be back next July to do it again!

Beautiful property that will fit all your needs! This house is loved and very well taken care of and it's also close to the beach with views of the surf from the bedroom balcony and the back balcony. Fully furnished balconies made this perfect for us as we enjoy spending time outside in the morning and evenings!This nicely decorated and very clean house was perfect for our family vacation. Stocked well and everything was easy to find and use. Beach equipment was clean and a great bonus for us!The neighborhood is quite and clean with restaurants close by.

Home away from home

This was our 3rd stay at this Pirate's Beach home. Great beach views from the upstairs master bedroom & the huge back deck. When you're ready for the sand and surf, it is only about a two minute walk to the water. The house has a very well laid out floor plan, with plenty of room and seating, both inside & out. The kitchen and bathrooms have a nice supply of starter items, most of which lasted our entire 8 days. The host is very thoughtful about even little details, like extension cords for chargers by the beds. You really feel at home here. Can't wait to go back!

Loved it!

My family loved our stay over spring break. Home is in a perfect location - beautiful views and a 2 min walk to the beach. Owner has thoughtfully provided so many wonderful extras - kids toys, beach toys, board games, and books. They also sent us a list with all kinds of recommendations for activities, shops, and restaurants - which was so helpful when exploring a new city. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you could need. I absolutely loved sitting on the porch with my book watching the kids ride their bikes thru the neighborhood. Beds are very comfortable. My kids would like me to tell everyone the ice cream truck comes everyday around 6pm - which they thought was the coolest thing ever. We will for sure be back.

Always the best beach stay

We love this house. We were four adults and two small kiddos (2 and under) and this was our third time to stay. It’s such a family friendly house with toys and a pack n play and high chair, and the short walk to the beach is so easy. It actually rained most of the time we were there but we were close enough to dash out for quick beach fun. Susan is super easy to reach with all the questions I always have. Highly recommend.

Lovely Home!

We have stayed at this home each summer for several years and each year we love it more! It is clean and well-kept, the beds are comfortable,and it has the most complete kitchen of any beach house we have rented. We especially appreciate the short walk to the beach. This year we were grateful that it was just far enough back from the sand to have escaped significant damage from Hurricane Beryl.The owner, Susan Perez, is pleasant, kind, and very accommodating. We look forward to returning next year!

Bright spot for a rainy stay

This home is well equipped for beach needs. It is a short walk to the beach and there is a cart available to take down all the things needed for beach time. The patios are a highlight even of we could not really enjoy them because it rained all during our stay. Go to Moody Gardens in the morning and stay the day if you too have a rainy day.

Wonderful Family Getaway!

Absolutely loved our stay in this home, and the location was perfect! The pictures and description don't do the property justice, and there is nothing I would change about this rental. Lots of seating inside and out, comfortable beds, impeccably stocked kitchen, spotlessly clean, great view of the beach and an easy walk to the shore.....our 18 month old could walk it. The owner has provided beach toys and chairs, all we needed was our suits and sunscreen. Communication with the owner was great, with prompt responses; Susan was lovely to talk to. The beaches and community are quiet, clean, and family oriented. No huge crowds, and except for one incident with another vacationer and their out of control dog... our stay was perfect. I definitely recommend this home and I hope we get the opportunity to come again!
