El Tranquilo , Relax with your entire family or friends in this beautiful, peaceful luxury home. Scenic 6 acre 4100 sq/ft Country retreat in the highly-desirable area of Templeton not far from town. Fully furnished with all the necessities including a Gas fire pit, BBQ, grass yard & top of the line indoor hot-tub, Corn Hole.
The rural location of this house was absolutely beautiful and just what we needed. Close enough to go grocery shopping and convenient to most wineries. Enough beds for us all to have our own. One twin bed is located inside the master room; it looked like it was a converted closet. Communication with the host was easy as well as check in/out process. Not much seating outside if you wanted to enjoy the patio as a group, but the living space and spa were perfect. I would stay here again.
We had a fabulous stay only criticism is that some things were listed as a room, but weâre actually closets that were converted but overall we would stay again. We really enjoyed the property and all the amenities and the host was awesome.
Beautiful place for a small family reunion. A few issues with repairs needed (hot tub cover lift didn't work, some non-working outlets, etc) otherwise a really lovely setting with the very best shower room I've yet experienced!
We had a wonderful time and the house worked out perfectly for us. We enjoyed going to the fabulous Sensorio and Paso for a night on the town. On Saturday, we hired a wine tour van and visited 3 wineries-perfect!
We all loved the house, everybody had a place to sleep, the kitchen and family room are spacious, the dining area has a big table and chairs for all 13 of us.
One of us had the opportunity to take a dip in the enclosed jacuzzi, and we all wished we had more time to enjoy the amenity.
Our trip was made so much more enjoyable thanks to the central location of the property.
We would definitely come back next time we venture to the SLO wine region again.
Great home located close to Paso Robles, Tin City and other fun places.
We had a group of 11 and started with a Hearst Castle visit before time in Tin City, Daou winery and Sensoria. House was fun with jacuzzi and large open kitchen ⊠we made sleeping arrangements work but do check as several bedrooms connect.
Beautiful house - lots of space for family to gather under 1 roof! Well stocked kitchen - every dish you would ever need . Comfortable beds too! And just down the road a local farm where the owner let my grandchildren feed the chickens. Many memories were made ! Very responsive host / you canât go wrong with this house!!
Anytime I stay in the Paso area, it's a good time. For this trip, we had six 60+ men enjoying a 3 day golf weekend. The house is a little bit of a weird layout (bedrooms off of bedrooms), but the fact that all 6 of us could each have our own room was great.
Despite the presence of large ceiling mounted speakers, we could never get any TV audio out of them. Oh well.
The house 'manual' was pretty skimpy - not a lot in the way of hints and tips. Also, upon arriving I had to call the host because we had never been sent the lockbox code. He answered and we got in immediately, but it was a little bit stressful...
Overall I'd give the property 3.5/5 stars.Pros: The home is large with several bedrooms that can accommodate a large group. The kitchen is also open and big enough that several people can be cooking/prepping at the same time while also conversing with people in the living room. The jacuzzi is one of the bigger ones I've seen, which easily fits 6 adults. The location is in wine country, close to several wineries in the Templeton Gap and El Pomar districts. It's also a short drive to the Albertsons in Paso, and restaurants in Paso and Templeton.Cons: One of the bedrooms (twin bed) is actually a converted walk-in closet within in the master bedroom. Another bedroom (daybed) is in a room that requires you walk through another room (double queen). It felt like there needed to be additional furniture in some of the common rooms (living room/family room). We actually moved a love seat into the main room as seating was somewhat limited, but that left the front room empty. We also came across a dead mouse in a pull-out bin of the living room credenza. The kitchen was somewhat understocked (no non-stick pans, limited cutting and steak knives)
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern about the conditions we encountered during our recent stay. Unfortunately, our experience was far below the standards we expected when booking through VRBO.
First and foremost, we discovered a dead rat inside the trash compactor. This is not only unsanitary but also deeply concerning as it poses significant health risks. A vacation rental should maintain basic cleanliness and hygiene, and this was a clear violation of those standards.
Additionally, the knob for the hanger next to the shower unexpectedly fell off, landing on my wifeâs foot. This incident caused a cut and swelling, which required immediate attention and disrupted our plans. Such a hazard should have been addressed or fixed prior to our stay.
We trust VRBO to provide safe and comfortable accommodations, and this property failed to meet those expectations. These issues have caused significant distress and inconvenience to our family, and we believe they warrant immediate attention.
Let me start by saying the property is beautiful. The house is spacious and was perfect for our needs. The problem was with the hostâs communication. I messaged a week before our trip with a question, with no response. I followed up a few days later, still nothing. I tried messaging, calling, and texting the day before when I still hadnât gotten any info about how to check in. I finally had to contact VRBO, and only got a response from him when they reached out and told him he had 1 hour to respond to me or they would have to work on rebooking me. This was my bachelorette weekend trip with 10 other people attending, so to say this was stressful was an understatement. Even then, he gave the barest of information so we could get in the house, and then stopped responding again. Fortunately we were able to get in the house. The house manual had very little helpful information, although it did give me someone else to contact, which we needed to do since it was unclear how to start the hot tub. I did get a response from them after some time at least. I wish I hadnât had the initial stress of worrying that I would have to rebook, and I wish the house manual gave more clear and detailed information about things. The WiFi didnât work either, so not sure if they changed the password and didnât update the manual. I fortunately was able to use my cell service there though. Itâs a lovely property and itâs a shame the poor communication made it a less than ideal experience.
