Great Time!

Loved staying here. The hosts were very accommodating and the house was perfectly stocked, clean as a whistle, and comfortable. We’ve been going to DC for a decade and have stayed all over. This place was the best yet.

The Perfect Retreat!

Honestly, can’t say anything bad about the listing! Clear, concise, accurate…. everything a trip to Door County could ask for! It’s a 5 min drive to Sister Bay downtown, so just the perfect little jaunt off the main drag.

Best Place for us in DOOR COUNTY

We've been coming to D.C. for years and this is the best place we have stayed. Please dont book here 😉 because we want it available just for us. Just kidding. Wonderful and quiet location that is easy to get to where ever you want to go in D.C. Would highly recommend.

Excellent property. Quiet neighborhood. The owner needs to upgrade the range. The cooking elements are uneven and the oven is at least 50 degrees hotter than the temperature dial. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The coziest Door County hideaway! Great for small kids!

I booked the Hygge House for a family getaway (4 adults and a 10-month old), and it did not disappoint! While the overall design of the home is minimalist, special touches throughout make it incredibly warm and inviting. The ou This was my first vacation rental as a new mom, and knowing that the owners have small children themselves sold it for me. I was able to let my son crawl and explore without feeling like he'd break everything he touched! He even took his first steps here, which will live forever in my memories . As Great As It Gets

We loved this house and experience so much. My wife and I had our one-year old son and my aging parents. Perfect kids room upstairs and "parents" room next to it. The older folks took the first floor room which was grand as a set up. The house and property are stunning and cool. Perfectly situated in the woods and so close to town, but it feels like you're in an enchanted forest. We cooked dinner a couple of nights, played games, and relaxed on the rainy days. The hosts were communicative and lovely. It was very hard to leave!
