A park-model cottage home in the Cedarville HOA Park formerly called the Cedarville RV Park. Most owners here have RVs and few of us have Park Model Homes. Ours has one bedroom with a queen, a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and a covered porch with seating and a grill. Kayak rentals are available at Woods N Waters in Hessel MI. Bike rentals available in town. Public Boat launch is in town with parking for boat trailers at the public marina. Our view is on the water facing Northeast. We have shade screens on the porch for sunny mornings. We can walk into town in 10 minutes along a beautiful view of Lake Huron. It's a unique place.
PARKING - Follow the parking rules. DO NOT PARK behind the Boathouse, rather park just beyond the #32 marker in the driveway.
RESPECT THE NEIGHBORS - Privacy must be respected. Guests are not permitted to drive or wander across a private lot without the neighborâs permission.
DOCKS - are PRIVATELY OWNED but kayaks and canoes can be launched at the docks . There is a public boat launch in Cedarville and you can park there.
The Boathouse was super clean and well stocked. It was relaxing and close to lots of beautiful places. Our first time visiting the Lake Huron coast - another beautiful Michigan treasure!
We came up for antique boat show in Hessel. The location was excellent for going to a number small towns, water destinations & hiking. The house was right on the water⊠thought not a beach⊠sitting on the deck for sunrise & then the cool of the evening was wonderful! Would definitely stay again.
We come here to relax and enjoy birding, kayaking, and fishing. We consider our porch view to be the highlight of the property. We have friendly neighbors and we're located within walking distance of downtown Cedarville. We do not have docking available, but we have a canoe and there is a public boat launch in Cedarville with parking available for vehicles and trailers.
Located in a beautiful Cedarville Michigan, the Les Cheneaux Islands provide excellent fishing, kayaking, beaches, and hiking, Very nearby are restaurants, a brewery, supermarket, gift shops and more. Home to the Great Lakes Boat Building School and Hessel Wooden Boat Show, and great birding sites and beaches along the shoreline.
