Fantastic home to stay in! We loved staying here. There is nothing that I would have changed about this house. It was so clean, well-stocked, and beautiful. The beach access was a great way to spend mornings and evenings. The surrounding town and community was great. Overall, staying here was great.
Beautiful view of the lake and bay. Great fishing in sight of the house. Dock worked great and was able to dock my 19' boat no problem. They only issue we had was we didnt stay long enough.
It was great. Nice place. The only thing was the dock. The water level was low and we couldnât use the dock. The owners are in the process of building on for that issue. The owner made us aware ahead of time about the dock so there were no surprises. We recommend this place.
Property is well maintained. We have stayed here the past 4 years and are always comfortable.
The neighborhood is quiet and the host is very accommodating.
We were in the area for a family reunion. The home gave us a wonderful place to come back to and recharge. The house was spotless and the yard with dock, chairs, and location was great. We would definitely stay here again.
We were in town to visit family that live very close nearby. The place was convenient to go to and from there, and gave us a place to stay when we wanted some downtime. The place was super clean, had a beautiful view, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking appliances and utensils. We would love to stay again sometime.
Clean and comfortable home, located outside of town. Dock is more run down than it looks like online. Also, the view from the living room is the beautiful lake with full view of a gravel business with bright lights at night.
Could not recommend this property enough! Monica is a fabulous host and is very prompt in communication. Everything detailed in the listing was spot on and we were blown away by the in-person views once we arrived. Being able to see freighters loading at the dolomite plant across the bay was a treat! The dock afforded easy boat access. The house was spotless, tidy and well stocked. We will absolutely look to stay here again in the future!
We had 4 adults and 2 kids(14 and 11) and enjoyed the property area immensely! The home was very clean and well stocked with everything. It does not come with bath/beach towels as noted, but it had everything else down to spices and condiments. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for a few days of really cool boating and meeting some of the friendliest people!
This is an incredibly clean and beautiful older home on Lake Huron, with many interior updates. The beds were soft, the entire house was well stocked and the property was beautiful! The owner was easy to reach and they allowed us to check in early, which was great as we only had two nights to stay! It was an incredibly comfortable home and the yard was great for playing yard games and we thoroughly enjoyed the firepit.
The only negative thing I would say is that the dock and boathouse/shed both need some attention. Both are very old and don't seem particularly safe (especially the dock). The paddle boats are in the boathouse/shed but we did not feel comfortable getting them out ourselves, especially since it seemed like the back door would have fallen off if we had tried (no hinges on one of them). So, we didn't get to use those.
We had a lovely week with a daughter and granddaughters (5 & 9). They loved playing in the water and the yard was large enough for them to run around. We would have liked a picnic table. The house is very well stocked with all you should need, especially the kitchen. Short road trip to the Soo. My husband enjoyed watching the goingâs on at Port Dolomite across the bay and the freighters in the port to load up. We will be back.
We were in the area for a family reunion so we really weren't at the house a lot during the day. We have stayed here before. The location is usually quiet. We did run into one night with being woke up at 4am, by loud talking people, but it was a holiday weekend. Cedarville is small enough for easy access and yet has everything you need. We really enjoyed the fireworks. The house itself is comfortable and clean. The owner is easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. The washer and dryer were a plus with two small children. Internet would be a nice addition, but I would definitely stay again.
Beautiful home and location. I would definitely love to stay there again. My son and I had a wonderful time. And I've always loved the area. And I really love the home we stayed in. A perfect trip
Home was updated, cozy, & has a good size property on the lake.
Definitely disconnects you from cable and WiFi.
Small community tucked away in the country. GRATEFUL to have this family-bonding time making treasured memories.
Great communication lines with the host, Monica.
I'm GRATEFUL to have the opportunity to stay in Cedarville.
