Jim and Colleen are amazing hosts and this is one of the nicest properties I have stayed in. Well-appointed and ultra clean, the trip was made top-knotch because of our accommodations. Highest recommendations all the way!!
Colleen is wonderful! She was extremely accommodating and helpful! She even had a printout with places to visit in town and suggestions for excursions. We really enjoyed being located in the heart of town. Walking distance to great restaurants and a coffee shop. The cabin was really quaint and very clean. Colleen had snacks available and the cabinets were well stocked with necessities (plates, mugs, etc). We were fitted with life jackets upon arrival which was great for our five year old! I would definitely stay here again.
The location of this property is incredible! Perfect walking distance to restaurants, playground, and docks to travel to the islands. We had a wonderful time. Its not always easy traveling with toddlers but the cottage was perfect. Jin was very accommodating and helpful! We will be back!
We stayed for Labor day weekend. I was able to read a few books. Everything is within walking distance of the cabin. The sheets on the bed were incredibly soft! I can't wait to come back.
This is a great location and the accommodations are just are described. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts are wonderful and willing to help with anything. We will be back. My son, really loved playing the piano that was available in the common area.
We absolutely loved the rainbow cottages in cedarville. Jin and Colleen were fantastic hosts and ensured we had everything we needed. The town was easy to walk to for restaurants and more. We are already looking to go back next year
We had a wonderful stay at the rainbow cabins. They have a perfect location close to the water, restaurants and coffee shops. They also had kayaks and paddle boards available to take out on the water. The cabins were clean and comfortable. Would love to stay here again!
The cabins are very nice, clean and orderly. Host were fantastic as well! Great spot next to the water with food, coffee and ice cream all within walking distance. Definitely will stay again!
Such a convenient location for Les Cheneaux! Right on the water and we kayaked every day. Walking distance to LCD and Coffee Roasters coffee shop. Grocery store and 2 ice cream shops also within walking distance, too. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Jin was ready to answer any questions and very helpful and accommodating. We would most definitely stay here again!
This little cabin was perfect for my family and I who stayed for the weekend. Jin was very accommodating and I have absolutely no complaints about the hosts or the property. If Iâm ever in Cedarville again I know where Iâll stay!
Jin and Colleen were perfect hosts and the property didnât disappoint! Clean, comfortable, cute-charming cabin was everything we hoped. Walking distance to restaurants/bars, harbor, ice cream shop-we were so happy to stay in Cedarville and day-trip around the eastern UP. Great beaches to swim/paddleboard not far with crystal clear waterâŠwe had the Best time and this cabin was a perfect base for us.
Thank you Jin and Colleen!
Exactly as described online. Simple cabin that had everything we needed for showering, sleeping, and cooking. Beautiful setting close to restaurants, grocery stores, and even other towns. Kind hosts who were very helpful.
This cabin and town were a dream. We loved the location, access to the house canoe, kayaks, paddle boards. Owners were very welcoming and accommodating. They shared a few local secrets that helped us with a pure MI experience. Our family had a wonderful time and would revisit if the space was available! Highly recommend
Very convenient location in beautiful community next to the marine.
Excellent hosts, perfect place to unwind on canoe or kayak during the day or at the fire pit in the evening; our family enjoyed the stay a lot! We will miss our breakfast under cedar trees and hanging out on a hammock. Thanks !
Absolutely wonderful stay at the Rainbow Cottages thanks to the care and thoughtfulness of owners Jin and Colleen. We were crossing the country and this was our final stop before arriving at our new home, so we were tired and needed to relax. Jin and Colleen left delicious treats for us, took us out on a stunning boat ride on Lake Huron, and even treated us to ice cream. So thankful for everything they provided and the comfortable cottage stay. We will definitely be staying again and encourage our friends and family to do the same when they make their way to this beautiful area. đ
We were very pleased with the rental. The cottages are very clean and furniture is in good condition. The location is a few 100 feet from the town, overlooking the bay. The owners are very responsive and take person care of the property. We had a very pleasant time and would recommend you to visit.
Jin and Colleen are great hosts. Cottage was clean and true to listing. The weather wasnât great while we were there so we couldnât take advantage of the proximity to the water, but all in all a great time.
We enjoyed our stay in Cedarville at the Rainbow cottages. Colleen and Jin provided a comfortable cottage with nice amenities including use of their canoe. There was a coffee house, ice cream shop, two places for dinner all within walking distance. Even though the cottage is located in town, It was nice and quiet where we could sip coffee listening to the birds. The library had a porch guest folk singer where we turned the lawn chairs around, sat in the sunshine and listened. A short drive away you could hike on trails or pull off the road and enjoy walks on the sandy/rocky shoreline of Lake Huron. Thanks Colleen and Jin, it was a nice stay.
