Great location: Restaurants, Shops, Kayak launch, Pinellas Bike trail, and Beach

We live in the area. We purchased this house as our vacation home and eventual retirement property. We are very active in the area and enjoy doing things in and around Gulfport and St. Petersburg. We love the area and are always out on the water or hanging out listening to live music. We have provided a lot of details about all there is to do: sports, beaches, festivals, restaurants, live music, springs, museums etc. in our guide book. We are also available anytime by text to share information and answer questions.

A peaceful get-away that is VERY centrally-located. We are walking distance to Historic Gulfport's shops and restaurants , Gulfport Marina and Clam Bayou with kayaking, jets ski and boat rental, and Sunset/dolphin/seashell cruises. Maximo marina and St Pete Municipal Marina are nearby. The Pinellas and Skyway bike trails are accessible 3 blocks from our place for a day of biking. Downtown Stpwte is 3p minutes by bike. By car, our house is 8 min. from the gulf beaches and 10 minutes from the new and exciting St. Pete Pier. There is so much to do! When the day is done, come home, relax, grill out, and cozy up to a movie before bed.

Our house was not damaged during the hurricanes of 2024. Clean and comfortable! This charming little house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. A lovely eating area in a sun filled dinning room. The living room is simple and comfortable with a couch and large TV. There is queen bed with pillow top mattress in one bedroom with access to the patio, and two full size beds in a bunk with lots of room to spread out. The kitchen is clean and has lots of cookware including an air fryer and a microwave with a lovely eating area. There is a colorful patio with outdoor dining and a hammock is available. The sun umbrella provides relief from the Florida sun, or layout in our private patio. Guests have access to a new large gas grill. There is a washer and dryer inside the house. When you step out of the house to explore the neighborhood, you will find biking trails, board walks, kayaking access points, a wonderful marina with lots of water sports rentals, the Gulport beach and historic village with a dance hall, Play Theater, restaurants, galleries, cafés, beach volleyball (will be available slring 2023) and 2 lovely piers (under repair). The sunsets are magnificent. Rather you enjoy a quiet coffee in an eclectic coffee bar, live music in a funky pub, fine dining, quirky quick bites, Swing/Big Band dancing, sunset views on a rooftop, local theater, bike trails, board walks, pictures on a pier, kayaking the back waters, or playing volley ball on the beach you will find it all just a pleasant stroll from our front door.
