Forest Home-Panoramic Pine Views/Arcade/Spa/Games

Escape away to our Castle in the Pines. Let your worries melt away whilst relaxing on the balcony with views of the pines and mountains. Surrounded by nature and wildlife, at 7700 elevation, but less than 20 minutes to the heart of downtown Prescott/Whiskey Row.

Enjoy an abundance of indoor & outdoor games/activities/books/movies to keep any family entertained.

Fully stocked kitchen with panoramic views of the pines, so you never have to leave! Evenings with a glass of wine in the hot tub and star gazing is our favorite thing to do.

Our home is the perfect space to unplug and spend quality time with your loved ones. However, we do have access to GREAT Wi-Fi so you can stream movies or work remote if you need to be plugged in!

PET FRIENDLY! Features a gated in area for dogs to be off leash. Dog fee will apply.

Please note as we are in the woods there is a 2.2 mile road that is unpaved. A car can make the trip, but SUV, Jeep or truck would be best. In high snow season a car with AWD or 4x4 is REQUIRED TO STAY.

Perfect Holiday Getaway

Beautiful property! The house was wonderfully kept, clean, and updated throughout. We had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Perfect for families and pets; the dog run was awesome. Beds were super comfy, hot tub was enjoyable, and kitchen was fully stocked. Would definitely stay here again with our family of 6!

Forest Retreat

We stayed at this property for five days and nights. There were five of us and one small dog. This property had it all! From young to older to our four legged family member, we were all comfy and enjoyed the beautiful scenery! It is just minutes from downtown and ultra quiet! The property borders the National Park which was awesome for walks and at night you can see so many stars! It was well stocked and there was something for everyone! We will definitely be back!

Castle in the Pines

This was a wonderful home, you can tell the owners take very good care of their home. The decor is lovely and the kitchen by far was the most well stock I’ve ever seen! Thank you so much, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning.

The home is beautiful up on a mountain in the woods. The view from the back deck makes you feel like your in a tree house. Our family truly enjoyed our stay, the house is so nice. And it’s great and easy to communicate with Athena the host.

Lovely home in the mtns

Great place for me and my two kids to spend a few days in the mtns. Beautiful home with all the amenities and great location. We had a very relaxing weekend. You could hear wild turkeys in the morning. What fun!

The dirt road to get to the property was a bit challenging for us. But being on the tall pine trees and seeing deer there was awesome.

Excellent Vacation property - Beautiful spot in the woods

This property rental is exactly-everything as described in the VRBO listing. It is such a beautiful and quiet setting. The Property owner has done a wonderful job on the house upgrades, and this owner does an AMAZING job with the amenities inside the house for their renting vacationers! Above and beyond what most VRBO owners do for their renters. SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I highly reccomend this house rental!

If you are looking for a serene nature filled experience in a luxury setting - this is the place for you. Every kitchen amenity you could ever need or want is at your disposal. Cleanliness off the charts. Our cocker spaniels loved the dog run & upper deck overlooking the forest with its critters. Yclose to town for shop

The property was very clean and fresh. I would definetly recommend it. Only issues were trash cans were full and no pellets for the fireplace.

Hi Phil! I certainly wish you had let us know about these issues during your stay. There’s a whole stack of pellets in our garage we could have directed you to. In regards to the trash, unfortunately mountain living doesn’t have trash pick up so it is a manual process. But hopefully as it is outside it wouldn’t have been in your way. Best wishes!

Great place!

My family and I are from Phoenix and wanted to escape the triple digits for a while. We stayed 5 days and it was perfect. Lots of games to keep the family entertained suring the eve, theblake was about 45 min. It was a very convenient home with comfortable beds and beautiful decor. The patio was great foe star gazing at night and early morning coffee. We took a few strolls around the property, and checked out the weather tower nearby. (Highly recommend!) We had a 4 wheel drive that did great on the road heading up, and a car which made it but it was a bit risky. Overall it was wonderful, and I highly recommend!

This home was wonderful. My grandsons (2,4, 6) loved watching the deer and turkeys come visit in the morning. The outdoor games were great to keep them occupied. The hot tub was maintained well. Some thing everyone talks about…the road. It’s maintained by the Forest Service, they don’t have money, so this isn’t going to change. It’s wash boarded. It’s bumpy. BUT Auntie Katie was able to get her Buick up there. It’s possible. You just have to go slow. My daughter laughed and said it’s bad enough that you would think twice about going down, but you would still go down to Prescott. This house is perfect for a long weekend or even a week. Just have your menus planned, and get your groceries before you get up there. There is so much to do there that you probably don’t want to go into Prescott. You can see the fire watch tower, we went snooping up there. Found a picnic spot, stood at the base of the tower, and hiked around a trail. We went to Goldwater lake and ran around there for a bit. The boys had a lot of fun and want to stay again. This house is a great place to stay.

Awesome get away in so many ways.

The pictures on VRBO do not do it justice! You really can't capture the home or property in a photo. This is an excellent place to get away! The family met there and enjoyed our time in the beautiful home, wilderness area, and places around Prescott. There is a fire lookout tower on Spruce Mountain that is and awesome to go see. It was totally worth the drive on the unpaved road on the side of the mountain. Since we are from flat areas of the country, it was more like off road areas - dirt, bumps, and potholes. Kind of like Indians Jones ride at Disney! It was nice that we didn't have cell service, but could text other iPhones or call via the internet/apps because there is great WiFi. The fenced in dog area was loved by the dog (snd us). We were out with her and played with her in there. It's much bigger than we ever thought. Athena was amazing and kept in contact with me before, the day(s) we arrived to make sure everything was okay, and while we were there if I had questions. Truly a wonderful person who wants everyone to have a great experience.
