We really enjoyed our stay, the house was perfect. It was well maintained, very well equipped and in a great location close to the beach yet peaceful at night.

Great house, well stocked, great communication

We enjoyed our winter stay. The house was larger than it appears in the photos. It was well stocked with just about everything we needed for our stay. Tom was great to communicate with. Very quick to reply and always provided the info we were looking for. Check in and check out was easy. House was clean and we had everything we needed to keep it clean.

Wonderful stay, charming cottage!!

My family of three (husband and our 2 month old baby) stayed here for 4 nights in September. The house was adorable and exactly what we were looking for! The screened in porch was perfect for afternoon naps for the baby. The beach was about a 7-10 minute walk from the house which was perfect. Tom was very helpful throughout the process. Highly recommended!

Charming and Comfortable Cottage

Tucked away on a quiet street, this lovely and pristine cottage was the perfect place for our first visit to Ocean City. We walked everywhere since the location was convenient to the beach and boardwalk. All the rooms were comfortably furnished and decorated with charming beach decor. The kitchen was well-equipped for all our cooking needs. Thank you, Tom, for your hospitality and quick responses to our inquiries!

Better Than Home - At The Shore

What a quaint & cozy house in a quiet, family neighborhood, close to everything you want or need. Great floor plan with living spaces on one side of the home & bedrooms on the other side. Loved the screened front porch for reading & people watching. Nice private back yard with picnic table & lines for drying. 2 blocks from the beach & one block from a great ice cream shop:) We hope to return annually!

Great place!

Great location - beach and boardwalk were easily accessible by walking or biking. House was clean. Owner was easily reached via cell phone and happily answered any questions.

Beautiful cottage! Sweet, clean, well loved and fun home! Screened in porch & great back yard.

I love this cottage. Well appointed, kitchen has everything needed to make your stay great! I loved the quaintness of this home. All the rooms were great! Super cute and clean! I loved the original pieces and the hard work that the owners have done to make this home comfortable for today! Looking forward to returning!

Wonderful house on a peaceful street

The house is a little dated but very clean and well kept. Our family vacation was perfect with fun dilled days on the beach and quiet evening on the beach as well. Close enough to walk to the boardwalk but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Only down side was parking. The shared drive you cannot park in and unless you have an economy size car you cannot park behind the house. When we arrived Saturday and Sunday the street was full but by Monday evening the street parking had cleared up somewhat.

This house was wonderful for our family... the location was great and the house was perfect for us. Tom couldn't have been any more wonderful to work with. He gave us tips and info that was very helpful for our vacation. We would definitely rent this house again!!

Very nice neighborhood

The house was clean and as expected. However the living room furniture is really not adequate for for adults to just hang out and be comfortable. Only other negative was that the beds were uncomfortable. Good little house for just a few nights. Very charming.

Beautiful Home Away From Home

This was my first experience reserving a home on Home Away and Tom, the owner, made the experience so easy and delightful! He was very responsive with emails and very accommodating. His home is beautiful and wonderfully located away from the hustle and bustle but only a few minutes car ride from all the action. The first thing I noticed was that his home was very clean. He took extra to make sure our stay was perfect and I would definitely recommend his home to everyone and anyone. Thank you for a wonderful weekend away, Tom!

How A Beach Cottage Is Supposed To Be

Well I must say when you book a Vacation rental online there is a certain amount of uncertainty you really are not sure what you are getting. Well let me set you at ease. We rented this cottage and found it to be just the perfect beach cottage. First of all it was clean, it was just the right distance from the hustle and bustle of a resort community, it was quiet and comfortable, the cottage had every thing needed for you and your fellow vacationers to have a great vacation experience at the beach.

Very Comfortable Home

This house was great! Very comfortable and charming, and in a very lovely neighborhood. All the amenities were available, the rooms neat and tidy. You can tell a lot of love went into renovating this home. Tom the owner was very accomodating and helpful. I would definitely rent this house again.

Perfect Beach Cottage

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, great screened in porch, backyard with table and four chairs for dining out (also a small table on the porch) very comfortable beds, and hardwood floors make this super easy to clean at the end of your stay. Homeowner is very good at responding to emails and returning deposit in a timely manner. Highly recommend this place! I hope to return every year - it's that good.

Comfortable Vacation Cottage

Our family of four stayed the last week in July beginning of August. Loved the location (my 11-year old son especially appreciated the close proximity to TJs ice cream and Express Pizza!). The Gardens is such a nice area to stay. The screened in porch was a favorite place to read and relax. We like the layout of the cottage with the open kitchen/dining area and comfortable living room. The HDTV was great for viewing all the London Olympics coverage. In addition to the AC, appreciated the ceiling fans in the rooms – kept things cool during the very hot weather we had. We also appreciated having the beach tags with the cottage – definitely a nice touch and one less thing to worry about. The home is a quick bike ride or walk to the beach, boards and shopping. We drove a mini van so parking around the back of the cottage was a little tight, but we found parking on the street to be more convenient anyway. The cottage is charming and well cared for and the owner is very helpful and accessible. We had a great vacation in a great home and we look forward to coming back next year.

Great week retreat

Just as advertised.....with all newish appliances, comfortable beds, delightful porch, and, especially important the very hot week we were there, great air conditioniing and ceiling fans in every room. A quiet neighborhood and a nice guarded beach a short walk away made for a very pleasant week. An extended stay might be problematic as there are no drawered chests in the bedrooms, just small tables and small closets. This didn't matter to the three of us though for just the week. Very nice, accessible owner.

Quiet, cozy and convenient cottage

My husband and I really enjoyed this cozy cottage only 2 blocks from the beach in the quiet Gardens section of Ocean City. What I liked best was the enclosed front porch for reading or dining and the outdoor shower that rinsed the day's beach sand away. It also had large open living room, dining room and kitchen areas. The bedrooms are small, but airy, with ceiling fans in each one to keep things cool. The mud room was great for unloading beach gear. The kitchen has stainless appliances including a dishwasher and garbage disposal - often not found in older houses at the shore. From this spot we could walk to the beach and boardwalk and even to Asbury Avenue to do some shopping. If I could make just a couple of suggestions, it would be add a dryer in the mud room, maybe a dining table/chairs out back and some blinds or shades on the windows that face the neighbors. Overall, a wonderful stay and we look forward to going back again next year.
