Welcome to Lucky’s Lookout! A beach house by dog people, for dog people.

Our family-owned, 5-bedroom, 3-bath home is just a short walk from the waves on Galveston’s quieter West End. With Gulf views, cozy spaces, and thoughtful touches for pups and their people, it’s a place to settle in and make memories with your whole pack.

Dogs are family here: no pet fees, no breed or size restrictions, and multiple dogs welcome! Please review pet policy in "Other details to note" section.

A HOME WITH A LITTLE HEART

We’re a family that vacationed here for years before purchasing the home ourselves. Those stays are part of why this place means so much to us, and we love sharing it with other families.

Lucky’s Lookout is named in memory of our beloved dog, Lucky. Our hope is that your dogs get to be part of the memories you make here, too, whether that’s a morning beach walk, a lazy afternoon together, or hanging out on the patio after a day in the sand.

UPSTAIRS LIVING SPACE

The main living area is on the upper level, with an open living and dining room, comfortable reclining couches, and a fully stocked kitchen.

All five bedrooms have Roku TVs.

• Bedroom 1: King bed
• Bedroom 2: Queen bed
• Bedroom 3: Twin-over-full bunk bed plus an additional twin bed
• Bathroom 1: Full bath with walk-in shower
• Bathroom 2: Full bath with shower/tub combo

Step onto the large upper deck to enjoy Gulf views and morning coffee in the tall Adirondack chairs, or stretch out on the lounge chairs.

DOWNSTAIRS LIVING SPACE

The downstairs level has its own private entrance and is completely separate from upstairs. There are no interior stairs between the two levels.

• Bathroom 3: Full bath with walk-in shower

Both downstairs mattresses were replaced in 2024.

ROOM FOR YOUR GROUP

The home accommodates up to 12 guests, with a maximum of 10 adults. It’s a comfortable setup for multi-family vacations, couples traveling together, or extended family who appreciate having separate sleeping spaces.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cooking oil, basic spices, paper towels, and coffee. We also provide bath and beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toilet paper.

The downstairs laundry room has a washer, dryer, detergent, and dryer sheets.

Beach gear is available for your stay, including a pop-up canopy, chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, and more. Please rinse off anything you use and return it when you’re finished.

FOR YOUR DOGS

We provide food and water bowls, waste bags, dog towels, and furniture covers to help your pups feel at home. Please let us know when booking how many dogs you’re bringing so we can prepare for your pack.

For their safety, please supervise dogs in the yard and don’t leave them outside overnight or when you leave the house.

We welcome dogs only; no cats or other animals are allowed.

WORK BETWEEN BEACH DAYS

Need to get some work done? We offer a portable desk and desk chair that can be set up in the bedroom of your choice. A monitor and HDMI cable are available upon request; please bring your own docking station and mouse.

Request the setup when booking or at least 48 hours before arrival.

LOCATION & NEIGHBORHOOD

Lucky’s Lookout is in Sea Isle on Galveston’s quieter West End, just a short walk from the beach.

Neighborhood amenities include a playground, basketball and pickleball courts, a private fishing pier, a seasonal community pool, and a marina with a full-service restaurant and bar. Beachsiders Bar is just a few lots down from the house.

Downtown Galveston, the Seawall, and other East End attractions are about a 25–30 minute drive away.

We’d love to welcome you and your dogs to the place our own family has enjoyed for years.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:

Lucky’s Lookout is a family-owned and personally managed home—this is not a party house. We’ve poured our hearts into creating a peaceful, relaxing space for families and friends to make memories, and we ask that all guests treat it with the same love and care we do.

Please respect the following policies:

No parties or large gatherings. The maximum occupancy is 12 people total, including any daytime visitors. Please discuss with owner at the time of booking if you are planning to have non-overnight guests visit the property during your stay.

Outdoor security camera is located on the front of the home, facing the driveway and street. It remains on 24/7 and records audio and video.

Community Pool Access:
The Sea Isle community pool is just a few blocks from the house. It’s open (weather permitting) from 10 AM to 8 PM during the summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day). If you'd like access, please let us know when you book—guests must purchase a $100 weekly pass (good for up to 10 people) through the Sea Isle Property Owners Association.

Fishing Pier Access:
The Sea Isle private fishing pier is available to guests who request access at least 48 hours before check-in. A keycard is required. Guests must agree to pay a $150 fee if the card is lost or not returned, and let us know immediately if it goes missing so we can deactivate it. Use of the pier is at your own risk. Please follow all posted rules and signage.

Groceries & Essentials:
There is a small locally owned grocery store less than 10 minutes from the home for basics and quick trips. However, if you're planning a big grocery run, we recommend stopping on your way to the island—larger stores like Kroger and Walmart are approximately 25 minutes away. Walmart+ delivery now available to Lucky's Lookout!

Pet Policy:
Dogs are family here! Multiple dogs are welcome, with no pet fees or breed or size restrictions. Please let us know how many dogs you’re bringing when booking. All dogs must be fully housetrained and current on vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Dogs only, please—no cats or other animals.

Dogs are welcome on the furniture; please use the provided covers. Supervise your pups in the yard, and never leave them outside overnight or when you leave the property. If you leave them inside while you’re out, make sure they’re comfortable being alone and crate any dog who may cause damage when unattended. Please pick up after your dogs and be mindful of barking out of consideration for our neighbors.

By booking, the booking guest accepts responsibility for any property damage or injury to people or other animals caused by any dog brought onto the property during their stay, including dogs brought by others in their group or visiting guests.
