Stay in the Country just off exit 11 of I-88 West of Oneonta on Covered Bridge Road. Just 14 miles (17 minutes) from the All-Star Village. This home welcomes your family with an in-ground pool, wrap around porch, gorgeous yard with swing set and gardens. large living spaces, nice open kitchen, dining area. The home sleeps 7 with 3 bedrooms upstairs, a full bath with Jacuzzi tub. First floor bathroom and bedroom.

The house was great and the host was super nice. We came for the Cooperstown all star village and it was an easy drive there. The house itself was so big and fit two families very easily. The property itself was gorgeous. I know a few people going up soon and next year and I highly recommend this house.

Beautiful home and location.

The owner was very easy to communicate with. The house was very clean. All linens were provided. Would definitely reccomend this property for anyone who is in the area.

Great for Cooperstown ASV Families

This house is huge! Located on a dairy farm where the cows 🐄 come over at night if people are in the pool or backyard! The host was very accommodating and responsive before our arrival. Great place for families that want to keep kids entertained!

Lovely Farmhouse

My son was playing at the All Star Village and we stayed in this lovely farmhouse. This was a special house - we feel lucky to have found it! It was on a working Dairy farm and had a farmers market. The owner actually greeted me with fresh picked raspberries - they were so delicious! Thanks David!

Cooperstown relaxation on a beautiful farm

We had a great time at the farm! The owner was very nice and communicated well right from the start. He was there to give us a walkthrough and explanation of the large and amazing property. He made us feel right at home. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle and the kids even swam in the pool for a bit. I highly recommend this property and we would visit again!

We came to stay the week for our son's baseball tournament. The house is an easy 15-20 minute trip to All Star Village. We absolutely loved the home! It was easy to find and the property is so beautiful! Loved visiting the cows from the dairy farm next door and the watching the groundhogs that came to visit while we rocked on the porch swing! The host was so kind and came to greet us. We absolutely loved our stay here. It brought back many memories of my grandparents country home we would visit growing up! Lots of space for our family of 6. Was definitely a breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives.

Cooperstown 2024

The house was a big farmhouse and it was so quiet and relaxing! More than enough room for us inside and out. The views were gorgeous and even though it rained for most of our time there, I was able to sneak outside to have my coffee and read (but I spent most of my time just taking in the beauty around me!) Dave was an incredible host. Information about the property was very clear, and he even left us a bottle of maple syrup that my children devoured. Just up the road was a Farm Market that we frequented often! We had a great stay and highly recommend the Sweet House!

We would move in if we could!

The property location is absolutely stunning. Plenty of room for the whole family (my husband and I, plus 5 kids - one was staying at Cooperstown). My kids loved the pool when they got to go in (was chilly for most of our stay). There was also a play set outside which the younger kids loved, and everyone loved viewing the scenery on the porch swing. My kids also loved the cows being up close and personal. Beds were comfy. David was a great host. Easy to contact and get ahold of. Even left some fresh raspberries for us during our stay, which were wonderful. Definitely would recommend and would be delighted to stay again if we're in the area.

Not quite what was advertised. Far away from Cooperstown ballparks (at least 20 mins.) if that is why you are staying here. Nowhere nearby for any conveniences and far enough away that it is inconvenient to come back between games for a break. Confusion with checkout time was frustrating and inconvenient when the owner walked in the house with his cleaning crew 15 minutes before either of the checkout times given. Late check-in time and early check-out.Clean and spacious.

Truly Exceptional and Lovely Experience!

What a phenomenal vacation! It wasn’t just a place to stay… it was a truly memorable experience! The love that was in this house was evident with every detail. I couldn’t stop taking pictures of every corner of this house that was so beautiful - inside and out! It was a REAL farmhouse feel, but with so many modern amenities. Dave was an amazing host… nearby and responsive when we needed anything - and even left us a welcome gift of delicious NY Maple Syrup from his farm! Everything we could have possibly needed was provided. The room was so spacious and comfortable. We came for my son’s baseball tournament at ASV (just 15 minutes away) and left with memories of this house that will last a lifetime. I have high standards of cleanliness and comfort, and this home exceeded them all. The beds were SO comfortable for all of us. We loved the daily visits by the cows and the ability to walk to the dairy farm and farm stand right next door. My son loved the tree swing and the pool. The fireplace was so cozy and beautiful. Writing this makes me wish I could go back there right now! Thank you for such a special vacation we’ll remember forever. Can’t wait to come back one day soon!

It was a pleasure to have Sarah and her family spend six days in the Sweethouse. The pool, cosy farmhouse atmosphere,cows nearby and the fresh vegetables at the farmstand were enthusiastically appreciated by the whole family. Sure hope they get to return again!
