Property is absolutely gorgeous! Close to All Star Village and plenty of room for your group. Lots of things to do when youâre in between games. Everyone enjoyed the lake - fishing, swimming and canoeing. And saw tons of wildlife, including deer, squirrels and even bear!
We loved this house. 2 living spaces perfect for a large family or 2 families each wanting their own wing. So peaceful sitting by the lake. About 20-25 minutes to baseball fields.
This my familyâs second Memorial Day weekend in this house. We gather to play games and spend quality time together and this house is perfect for that. The weather was rainy so we couldnât enjoy water activities on the pond but we still had a wonderful long weekend. We also love the proximity to Delhi and Cooperstown.
Beautiful home, on a great fishing lake.
Only about 25 minutes from Cooperstown ASV, which made it easy to travel back and forth to watch our kids play.
Highly recommend staying here!
If we are ever in this area in the future, I would definitely book again!
The owner was very accommodating and we had three generations and pets. The house was clean, well appointed and perfecto for our group. Serenity Lake was wonderful and there was plenty of toys to enjoy the lake. We would definitely recommend to our friends and would stay again. 25 minutes to All Star Village, an easy ride.
We cannot thank Bill enough for his beautiful house. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the dock, listening to the peaceful breeze on the lake and having a vacation for our girls while they cheered their brother on at Cooperstown!
We loved this location and house. It was an easy drive to and from All Star Village. The pond was so fun for swimming, boating, and fishing. The roads are very quiet with beautiful hills for walking, running, biking. The house is very clean with a great layout for a group. Bill was very responsive and easy to work with. Weâd definitely come back!
House was very clean, well equipped and as advertised. Lake and fishing were great too. Owner was very responsive throughout the process. Would definitely come back.
We really loved our visit. The house is very cute and the split of the bedrooms worked really well for our family. We hosted a dinner with family from the area and had plenty of space to sit around the table. The kitchen was great to cook in, plenty of room to cook a large meal. I do wish one of the upstairs bedrooms had a larger bed in it but we made it work and would still book this house again in the future.
We had a wonderful time! The lake is small, but very private and we basically had it to ourselves. Plenty of boats (kayak, canoes, paddelboards) and floaties to have fun with on the water. The dock is amazing to just sit and relax on. Fire pit with firewood provided was awesome!
The house itself is nicely appointed and comfy. Beds were comfy with the exception of the one trundle which was so hard it felt almost more like a boxspring. The pull out couch in the downstairs didn't actually have room to pull out fully (hit the wall and we didn't want to add to the marks already on the wall) - so something to note if you are planning on using that. Couches were comfy. Kitchen had everything you should need.
We had a great stay and would definitely return!
My family and I recently stayed at this gem over a long weekend and we couldnât be happier. There were 11 of us total ranging in age from 6 to 80. The accommodations were clean and cozy and everyone had a comfortable spot to sleep. Kid cousins did take advantage of sleeping together in the living room. We loved the pond! We enjoyed relaxing on the dock, soaking in the sun, and bird watching while kids and adults paddle boarded, kayaked and canoed. The house was equipped with games and we brought some of our own. It was easy enough to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame and visiting Delhi. We made good use of the kitchen and the grill and the outside picnic table is huge! Making outside meals very enjoyable. Weather conditions only allowed one night by the fire pit. There was plenty of firewood to spend more time put there if it hadnât rained. All in all we truly enjoyed unplugging for the weekend. We had great stay and would recommend staying here for anyone looking to get away and cozy up with family or friends.
We so enjoyed our stay on the lake! The kids loved the water sports and the house was well equipped. Hope to come back in a few years when our younger son is playing at All-Star village. Bill was super helpful when setting up our trip.
Incredible overall stay! Cannot say enough good things about the house, owners and property. Our family and friends stayed during the week long Cooperstowns baseball tournament - close enough to the fields to not be a huge hassle/time commitment and plenty of activities to do at the house to keep everyone entertained. Everyone was fishing, paddle boarding and swimming in the lake all week. Great family vacation home and the owners were so good at communicating with if we had any issues or questions. Would highly recommend this property!!
Host answered all and any questions quickly. Property as described. Just a quick walk to the pond, the kids had a great time. The paddle boats and paddle boat was a huge hit. For relaxing in the evening the wifi was quick speed and lots of options on tv. We loved being able to bring our dogs too. Also made a day trip to the baseball hall of fame (about an hour drive). Will definitely stay again!
Long Islanders who have been escaping to the Catskills for 30 years. A mother/wife who is retired from the NYPD after 22 years of service. A father/husband who owns his own servicing company and a daughter who is off to college to start her own journey, much to our dismay. We find solace in our visits Upstate surrounded by our Golden Retrievers, Molly, Mabel and Maude.
A unique setting, nestled in a rural paradise, with a refreshing swim a stones throw away. Close enough to civilization to meet your shopping needs, while also providing peace and solitude. If a wooded setting, on the edge of a lake is your thing, then this is the right place for you
14 miles from All Star Village with enough room to fit your young ballplayers. Skiing is under an hour away. Close to Sydney Dam Lake, Oneonta and Walton. Cooperstown is 37 miles away. Enjoy the baseball, and rest up lakeside at the end of the day.
