Great location! The upstairs top bedroom had a very creaky mattress.. for adults it was not as comfortable as what we were hoping.. there was a ping pong table but it was a smaller size than a normal one and no ping pong balls on property.. the host did offer to bring some but by them it was our last day.. overall nice property we had a great time

This house is a beautiful spot to stay. The inside is pristine and clean and totally updated.

Well located, adequate street parking, rooms and bathrooms plentiful for adult guests, good kitchen/great room setup. Walk to beach and Coast Highway shops/services/restaurants. Cute beach cottage-y neighborhood.

Family trip

While it is a small home and all the spaces are small, it was as advertised and we had a good time. AVANTSTAY does a really good job and I'd definitely use them again.

Great house and location

Property was beautiful and location is great for shopping and restaurants. There was a hot water issue with showers which I appreciate the help mid stay. Maybe the large home needs another tank? The kitchen range is fantastic!

Wedding weekend

This property was conveniently located for all our wedding activities, was roomy enough for all of us, well equipped and allowed for quiet, “away space” if needed. The front patio area, albeit small, was roomy enough for our group of 8. There were plenty of fun games for us to enjoy down time and was located near stores, eateries and the beach!

Great walkability

We had our annual girls trip of 8 ladies this year in CDM. Lovely walkable area so close to gyms, food, and the water. Living space was a bit small and some chairs not as cozy as we hoped for but a great home to enjoy. Thanks!

Great location!

The location was perfect! Right in the middle of CDM. The house was really compact. Lots of stairs. Our Master bed was really comfortable, but the pillows were not great. Very firm. All of the rooms were nice but small. Overall the house was nice and we’d stay again because it’s clean and great spot!

Perfect Family Getaway Home

AvantStay made this a wonderful trip for our family. The property was very well maintained with great amenities. The location means it's just one block down from downtown CDM and a few blocks from the beach. Would definitely stay again. Worth noting - The WiFi was unreliable but we were there a short time so never asked them to look into it. I'm sure they would have. The bedrooms are also spread out - 1 bottom floor, 2 second floor, 1 third floor. If you have kids, they have baby gates for the stairs.

Quality Location. Expect Better for the Price

I want to be fair in my evaluation of the property with the understanding that I am very picky but I also own and operate several dozen rental units. I am also a property developer and builder so my opinions are backed by years of experience in the real estate sector. The unit is in very good location in a good neighborhood with the exterior being well designed and decently maintained. However, the interior needs some real work. The furnishing are extremely cheap for the upper tier nightly rental fee being requested as you would and should expect more. All of the bedrooms are small and the bed in the primary bedroom is especially terrible as it is made of memory foam topped by a cheap 4"-5" soft foam topper. The unit is also very much in need of a quality deep cleaning as appliances have a film on both the outside and inside. This unit has potential but we would not stay here again in it's current condition...especially at this price point.

We enjoyed the house and were very appreciative of the welcome gifts! We did have some issues with the wifi not working on the TVs and no live channels being available, which made the TV unusable for a week. The ironing board was also broken and there were very few hangers so we had to order those things and have them sent to the house.
