Want to get away from it all? Lake Buchanan is full!! Come enjoy time with your family and friends at this spacious home with great views. Enjoy your coffee as the sunrises or your favorite beverage as it sets over the lake. Plenty of room in the kitchen to cook or enjoy BBQing on the large deck. Two living areas with lots of space to hang out. Main kitchen and living are upstairs along with two bedrooms. The downstairs living is a game room with daybeds and trundles as well as two additional bedrooms. The beach is basically at your back door with steps leading into the water. Bring your floats and relax! We'd love to have you at our home on Lake Buchanan.

The lake house has amazing views, great private beach entry into the lake, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for a large group (we had 8 adults 2 toddlers), bedding was plentiful, kitchen was very stocked with everything needed to cook with.10/10 recommend !!

The view is beautiful, and the home was perfect for our large family. The rooms downstairs were perfect for our older family members who had direct access to the back porch and lake. The check in process was easy and everything worked perfectly all weekend. We would visit again and again. If you’re thinking about it, do it!

This was the perfect place for a family get a way!! Plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably and a kitchen big enough for the cooking! We had everything we needed there! The view was breathtaking! We all felt like we could wake up everyday there! The water came right up to the backyard so there was no need to load the kayaks every time we finished.. just drag them up on the bank and enjoy more family time! Love, love, love this house and location!!!!

We definitely need rain in central Texas as all the lakes are low. We are also thankful that we are on the open lake vs an inlet so we always have water, it’s just a little further walk off the back deck.

The house was amazing. Fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need. The views were breathtaking. Our whole family was able to be in one home for vacation, and memories were definitely made. Everything was great! Would definitely stay again

Outstanding location

My family loved sitting, playing, grilling, and eating on the back patio, with a beautiful view of the lake and surprisingly cool weather and few bugs. The property is rustic, but you can't beat the location on the north shore of Shaw Island and we spent our days renting boats and jet skis in the lake, our afternoons and evenings on the patio, and nights playing games and watching movies inside. It was a fantastic lake vacation!

Great house for families

We had a lovely stay. Absolutely beautiful property with tons of space to for kids to play and explore. The kids loved the downstairs game which they named the party room. We couldn't get over the fact we couldn't hear the kids when they were downstairs, which was great. We can't wait to come back!

This home is actually on a triple lot with lots of room to play outside and is on the open lake. We are very thankful we can share it with our guests.

This was the first time my family and I stayed in this property. It was absolutely perfect! The location couldn’t be any better. It was near the end of a peninsula. The neighborhood was quiet. The waterways were quiet. It was not overcrowded on any spectrum. We had our own private little beach area. We stayed outside 90% of the time on the back porch. We cooked our meals and brought them all outside because it was so nice. The view was amazing all the downstairs rooms have open doors to the back porch. The upstairs room is a solid wall of windows overlooking the lake. Views are absolutely stunning. The host was amazing. Answered all of our questions in a very efficient amount of time. If there were 10 stars, I’d give this place 10 stars. The host even communicated some plans to make the property even more amazing and appealing. I would recommend this property 100%.

Great Family Stay

We had a large group of 14 and the house was the perfect size. The kids loved sleeping in the game room on the daybeds with trundles. Location was amazing and we pretty much had the water to ourselves, even though it was the weekend right before 4th of July. Beautiful, open living/dining area upstairs allowed us to hang out together with many windows and a great lake view. My favorite spot was outside on the downstairs deck! It was very peaceful and the sunset was amazing!

Family Reunion

This is a nice house that can accommodate a big family. Has big windows in the back which gives great views of the lake. Only thing my wife didn’t like was the stairs main house is on top floor. House does have an elevator don’t know if it works and didn’t ask. We enjoyed our stay

This feedback was very helpful. I've updated the listing stating the main living and kitchen are on the second floor. We do have an elevator, however each time we've had it repaired it has broken so we have taken it out of service.

Great family atmosphere

We had a great time at this lake house! The access to the outdoor space and the scenery were perfect. The pictures do not do this house justice. Water level was low but enough water to enjoy a day out in the lake. My daughter is small for her 7 years but enjoyed walking out into the water. We had a great night around the foozeball table and used the bbq grill every day! Thank you for allowing us into your home!

Stay was good minus the bugs

The property owner was very sweet. The back door didn’t lock, but the area was safe so we weren’t too worried about it. The pictures are accurate. The main concern was all of the spiders and bugs. It is the country, so we expected some but they had cob webs in the corners, by the doors. I’ve been bitten by a brown recluse (a few years ago) so I had a really difficult time relaxing with the numbers of spiders.

We do have the house sprayed by pest control quarterly, and unfortunately this rental was just prior to being sprayed. We will opt for more frequent summer treatments as that is prime time for spiders and other pests. I have also discussed the issue of the cobwebs with the cleaning service so we shouldn't have those issues in the future. Our back door does lock, it is confusing, as you have to lift the door handle up to engage the lock. I'll have it replaced to avoid confusion in the future. As an owner we always appreciate feedback during a stay so we can address any issues immediately.

Family Getaway

It was a perfect weekend with a Beautiful view to the lake. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, bbq, movies, walking and resting. The house was a perfect size for 12 people. We will be returning.

Hi! Nice to meet you. I live in Georgetown, Tx with my husband and our dog Lillie. Our children are grown and gone. This home belongs to my parents who have moved closer to town. We love it so much we want to share it with others on VRBO. We’d love to host you and hope you will enjoy the the lake as much as we do.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The house is at the end of a street, which makes for a quiet setting. Most of the neighbors are full time residents and are very friendly.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The lake is full and we are steps from the water. We sit on the open lake so we always have access to water. The large decks make family time fun and the views from upstairs are beautiful. You won't want to miss the sunsets.
