Spacious home with stunning views of the Keweenaw Waterway! Located at the end of a quiet road yet close to so many major attractions! Michigan Technological University, Historic downtown Houghton & Hancock, Ripley Ski Hill, Michigan Tech ski and hiking trails, Quincy Mine, Snowmobile Trails, different beaches and much more! Copper Harbor and Mount Bohemia are only 45 minutes from us! Brew a cup of coffee or tea and hangout on the beautiful deck overlooking the bridge with unobstructed views through the glass railing. 😊 Relax and unwind by being screen-free here. All bedding, including comforters, are washed between stays.

Great location and views!

The property was clean, bright and easy to access. The views from the property were stunning and even better from the deck.Overall this is a very well maintained property with plenty of space to move around and room for parking. Very close to houghton, hiking and the rest of the Keweenaw.

Great House

We stayed here for my Son's state's Hockey tournament. It was a great house with lots of open spaces for ease of movement to cook and talk. The view was spectacular and it was so much fun to watch the snow storm role in. This house is atop a steep hill so thank goodness my husband had a truck to make sure we could go up and down with the snowfall. The roads got plowed everyday before we left and it was fine. There are no TVs so we had fun playing some card games we brought!

It is truly hard to describe the absolute stunning view from the living room. The house was beautiful, clean, roomy, everything was as advertised! We had a great time!

Amazing house, great location, fantastic views

This place is awesome for larger groups. We came to ski and sightsee in the Keweenaw. This was a return trip the Canal View house and we look forward to returning in the future.Everything about the accommodations is as good as you could ever hope to find. There are relaxing social spaces, sweeping views, a perfectly stocked kitchen, and plenty of sleeping space.If you are looking for a very nice place at a great price, this is the one to book! Thanks for the stay!

Baja Weekend

We came up to see my son compete in the Blizzard Baja Race through MTU. We had a wonderful time, the house was clean and well appointed and the the views are amazing. We would highly recommend for any traveling to Houghton/Hancock!

Great view, nice place

Super nice place with plenty of room for a group of 8. The view is outstanding. Could have used a few more utensils ( more forks and a snow shovel). There is no TV so Thanksgiving football was difficult.

Fabulous view!

We loved this home! It’s very nice with an exceptional view! We spent a lot of time out on the deck enjoying the view! We cooked, color toured, and played games. We had plenty of room for everyone! The host was super! Thank you for a great weekend!

Almost wordless

The location was …………well ……hard to put into words. View is great. Wish I could have stayed another week to catch the fall colors peak. Plenty of room. Nice deck for lounging. We come to the Copper Country a couple times a year and would rent this plac again if available.

Amazing View

An amazing home with an amazing view. Only reason for 4 stars inaccuracy of online listing was because the treadmill and elliptical did not function. Ok though because plenty of beautiful places to hike and walk. The listing did not advertise televisions so it was my fault for being surprised that there are no TVs in the entire home. Again, not a problem because the only thing I wanted to look at was the view from the back deck.

Sisters vacation

We loved our rental property beautiful house & location with the most amazing views! Will definitely pass on the property. The only thing we discussed was why no television! Not like we missed it because we played a lot of games. But if a family with children may have missed a television!🤗👍

High above Hancock

Absolutely beautiful home with nice open spaces. The views, both night and day are fabulous. We hope to visit the Hancock/Houghton area again and if so, I’ll look to stay in the house again.

Stay for move in weekend

Great stay

Wonderful comfy place. We enjoyed the views overlooking the causeway and bridge. Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with friends or family. Lots of space and the kitchen has plenty of room.

So much space!

The house was spotless, and well-equipped. Lots of space, and privacy for each member of our group. Even more beautiful in person. What a view! Would absolutely recommend.

Simply the BEST

Such a wonderful home to serve as your home base while exploring the Houghton. The view is even more breathtaking than the pictures - day and night. The entire living area is perfectly oriented to maximize the view. If we return to Houghton I won’t even search for other options - THIS is where you want to be!

Beautiful View!

I stayed at Canal view at the end of July and I couldn't have been happier. As soon as you enter the house and see that view - wow! I thought the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-appointed. The location was perfect for my daily trips up into the peninsula and there was a grocery store very close by. I liked this property so much that I'm going to book again for next spring!

Family Reunion

The property is stunning and so conveniently located. We were having a family reunion and it rained all weekend so all outside activities were cancelled. We all met at our beautiful VRBO home and it worked out great. Can't say enough about the home!

We loved the view, it was beautiful! Enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck in the morning and a reading book in the afternoon. Houghton/Hancock has so many things to do and see. Also, you are just a short drive from Copper Harbor.

Beautiful house in perfect location!

This home is lovely and in the perfect spot for a visit to MTU or a Keewenaw adventure! Our family group of 7 enjoyed everything about this home... the beds were the most comfortable we've ever had, the view is spectacular, the home is well appointed and very comfortable! Would recommend to anyone, and will definitely book again!
