The space
Bastrop is one of Texas's best kept secrets. We can sometimes be overlooked for our large sister city, but that works in our favor, because we offer all the trappings of Austin, minus the hustle and bustle. So feel free to come visit Austin but rest your head in Bastrop.

We believe that everyone should absolutely love their stay and that's the standard we have set for our property. Our property is fully furnished which includes blankets, sheets, pillows, towels, wash cloths, make up towels/cloths, Smart TV, fully equipped kitchen, fast wifi, furnishings, liquid bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. The pictures here, do include tourist attractions and surrounding businesses you might want to check out, during your stay. We are outside of Austin, making this the perfect getaway from city life. Beautiful, fully renovated house, with antique touches, that can accommodate 10 Adults and 1 infant.

Your home away from home, during the duration of your paid rental, is located on 6 acres, approximately 15 miles from the Austin-Bergstrom Airport (ABIA), Tesla Giga Texas, and The Circuit of the America's (COTA/F-1 Track).
This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom is the ideal, perfect place for large families (w/well behaved children-no jumping/running in house) visiting the area or for a sizeable work force needing a place near the job for sleeping accommodations. It offers the best of both city and country living. A 30 minute drive (or a bit more depending upon traffic) into Austin, allows for easy access to music and sightseeing, all while having a quite and spacious home to return to. This thoughtfully decorated home includes a beautiful kitchen, with stove/oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, and a large pantry. Kitchen cabinets are stocked full of convenient kitchen appliances: rice cooker, air fryer, electric water kettle, fire extinguishers and more.
We are located in a relatively quite neighborhood, and are not suited for parties. Respectfully, if you are looking for a space to party, our home will not be a good fit. If at any time the maximum number of occupants is exceeded, or owner receives information about excessive noise, owner has the right to cancel your reservation without refund immediately and to bill the guest a: "Service Fee" as is listed in the House Rules. This is also a: "No Smoking" "No children between ages of 5-12" and "No Pet" guest accommodation, and a "Service Fee" will be charged if there is any sign of smoking or pet residue discovered after guest departure. (See "House Rules")

Travel insurance is highly recommended for any stay.

CLEANING: This property will be cleaned, pictures taken and inspection made before and after your departure. We ask that you help us enable the cleaning crew as much as possible. It is city ordinance that we rinse out recycling and separate from regular garbage. If excessive wear and tear or trash not sorted, is found on property or additional cleaning is necessary (starting at $100+), due to spills, trash left laying around, unclean dishes, holes in walls, and/or stains on furniture, carpeting, linens, paint, wallpaper or flooring, guest authorizes the owner to bill them for additional cleaning fees. You can be rest assured that we've put in place extensive cleaning and disinfecting procedures, with increased focus on sanitizing all commonly touched surfaces, both before and after every stay. This listing includes the entire house, front porch and immediate front yard and side parking area for 2 vehicles, with these exceptions: no parking in driveway, stay out of the backyard, and no access to 2 closed and locked cleaning closets, a few locked supply cabinets in kitchen and outdoor sheds. If your stay is longer than 3 days or you're a large group, you will be given the access code to locker for more clean towels and wash cloths, if you ask. Paper consumables are supplied for the 1st 3 days of your stay. After that you will need to purchase as needed.
Bedrooms, bathrooms, towels and bedding will be provided for ONLY the number of guests you book for. Please list ALL names and ages for each guest, or they may not have a bed to sleep in for the night. Thank you, in advance, for your thoughtfulness.

Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but to do so, you must contact us ASAP as well, as we do not live on site 24/7.

Toys and games are supplied for yours and/or your child(rens) enjoyment. All children must be supervised at ALL TIMES. Parents are responsible for their safety and for any injuries or damage that they may incur or cause. Unsupervised children who cause disruption for others, may be asked to leave the property with their entire group. Please respect the privacy of neighbors. Please do not allow children to climb trees. Absolutely no fires, be they fireworks, candles or cigarettes, etc.

Looking to get out and about? We are close to it all.. The area is well noted for excellent food eateries, in all surrounding towns. Within a 5 -10 minute walking distance, (across the nearby highway) is a Sonic Drive in. 28 miles to Lockhart brings you to the well known BBQ capital of Texas. It's only about 5 miles to the city of Bastrop, that is well stocked with almost every fast food franchise you can think of. From Chick-Fil-A, Mexican, BBQ and Chinese all the way to Dairy Queen and Schlotzsky's. Toward Austin about 7 miles on Highway 71, is a McDonald's. In Austin the restaurant of your choice, is for the pickin. Our favorite for lunch is Catfish Parlour, China Harbor or Bill Miller BBQ. For the evening meal, if you like eating healthy, we suggest Jason's Deli, where the choices are many and free ice cream comes with every order. Also, another favorite in town is Cabo Bob's (quite similar to Chipotle, but with so much more variety).
