Watson Wonderland is located less than 15 miles from the heart of Baton Rouge, 60 miles to the breweries on the Northshore, and 90 miles to downtown New Orleans. This 1840 home has been updated to include modern finishes with country charm. Inside, be treated to all the luxuries – two king sized beds, mesmerizing backyard views, spacious open living with dining and fully equipped kitchen.

Outside, enjoy the expansive yard, large front and back patios with an outdoor lounge area, green egg grill, and a fireplace. All overlooking 2 acres with plenty of room for the kids to play!

Wonderland is the PERFECT name!

Our group of 4 work colleagues stayed at Watson Wonderland for our Annual Planning Meeting. One couple, and two singles. We chose this listing based on our need to have separate rooms/bathrooms and a large enough space to unwind if needed. We had such an incredible visit. The house was clean, spacious, inviting, and the views from the dining room were extremely relaxing during our all day meetings. Our communications with the host were all very positive experiences. We had no issues with the house nor the hosts. I did notice a review when I was booking that stated there were AC issues, I wanted to comment that we had zero issues with the AC while staying here. AC cooled the house very well. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances/amenities for cooking. My husband and I are even looking to rebook this home for our family in the future. Highly recommend!

Great family LSU game weekend!

We loved our stay! The home is beautiful inside and out. Sitting outside drinking coffee on the back porch, and watching the sunrise was amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to make it back again.

Hot bedrooms

The property is beautiful but the bedrooms were hot each day of our stay. And it’s hard to get to sleep in a hot bedroom. The upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs bedrooms were both really hot while the rest of the house was cold.

Wow!

My family and I were in town for my sons graduation and booked our stay here. This home is absolutely gorgeous! My last rental home stay was a few weeks back where I was bamboozled because the pictures of that home were very deceiving, but with this home, the actual home was better than the photos. The amount of details that went into making our stay comfortable, exceeded our expectations. My family and I especially loved the back porch and outdoor kitchen area. More time was spent out there watching tv than inside the house and my 8 yr old, who loves nature, enjoyed the trees and just being outside. Overall this was just what we needed. I will definitely book here again!

Most incredible property!

Our family gathered in this fabulous Denham home for a weekend together, enjoying the extensive patio, comfortable beds, chefs kitchen, and outdoor entertaining area. The hostess was incredibly responsive and generous. This is a to-be-remembered home for sure!

Amazing

The house is beautiful, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. There were plenty of towels, cooking necessities, seasonings, etc. The thermostat worked exactly as it should. The grandkids loved the playroom, the playground, and all the games. All of us loved the decor as well.

An Experience

This property gave us plenty of room to come together and talk in the privacy to have our own space. This home liked nothing and included all of the extras that make a house a home. Paige was amazing. We are thinking of making this an annual stuff for us. The morning time and evening time on the porch was nothing short a fantastic.

Soccer tournament stay

The home was very nice and clean. Plenty of space for our teen boys to hangout and kick the ball around. Paige was very responsive and helpful when we had any issues or questions. The only drawback is that the property is a bit of a drive from Baton Rouge.

Perfect place for a family retreat

We loved our stay in Watson Wonderland. The restored farmhouse is beautiful and spacious. Our family came to Louisiana for a wedding and this property was perfect for that. Large rooms for gathering and a kitchen that provided everything we needed. Paige was wonderful to work with. The weather was not great while we were there and she text to check on us! Definitely will stay again next time we are in that area.

1 year old birthday party

My family from out of town stayed at the house and we had my sons 1st birthday party here. It was amazing. It is set up perfectly for entertainment and the host checked on us the day before our even to make sure we had everything we needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Beautiful house and property.
