This home truly has six bedrooms, kitchen is huge, refrigerator is huge. Nice area on patio to play cards. Overall a very spacious place for a large group.
We had a great week at this location. The host was very great to work with. The couple of minor things that happened while there were fixed right away. It was in a great location, close to so many place.
We had a group of 9. We were in town for a week, for a tournament. The house was more than expected. The ladies fell in love with all of it. We had ample room, had everything we needed was easy to find and close to stores and restaurants. Thank you so much. Would recommend over and over again!
All of us were happy with the amenities, and the property was beautiful. It was an easy process and the owner was kind enough to answer all my questions.
This house was perfect for our group of friends bowling in the open championship tournament. It was close enough to the bowling alley but far enough away to feel like we were vacationing. The house fit us all comfortably and we had everything we needed, including a giant kitchen so we could gather and enjoy time together. Our host was great at communicating and make sure everything was working and ready for us and so helpful in helping us have a great first experience in Baton Rouge! Thank you for a great experience!
Baton Rouge USBC National Unified Bowling Tournament
We truly enjoyed our house in Baton Rouge. The French Country home was just perfect size for our group. We had enough room for everyone to relax and enjoyed the outside and wonderful warm temperatures while we were there for one week. Shannon was great communicating with us if we had any questions. Great time in Baton Rouge. Thanks Shannon for sharing your home with us.
We rented the property for a friendâs trip with everyone coming into town. The house was spacious and allowed a great place for us all to get together under one roof. The backyard was large and allowed a place for the kids to play. We would stay there again.
Our group was in town for the LSU football home opener. There were 15 of us and we had plenty of space for everyone. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the back patio. The home was adequately stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Shannon was a pleasure to work with and we would definitely consider staying at this home again.
I gotta say that the property is beautiful! Nice and big. So much space. Everything was really clean. Me and my family felt so comfortable! I recommend renting this property. 10/10
Great location and easy travel to LSU campus and Baton Rouge. Owner replied to questions quickly. Great amount of space for visiting indoors and out.
Some of the furniture could stand to be replaced⊠1 bed very squeaky, formal dining room chairs were unsteady.
Lots of spider webs and dusty baseboards could use a good deep cleaning.
We enjoyed our time and of course the win over Alabama was icing On the cake!!
The hostess was very quick to call/text me back in answering my questions. There was plenty of space to gather & to sleep. The fridge is a commercial unit the size of 2 side by sides. This was invaluable for our catering trays to get together with family. The antiques are beautiful, however there was very little comfortable seating. The floor in the entire house is stained concrete. It looks nice, but was very hard on old feet & scary for children playing. Rugs might help. The beds are all antiques and do shake & wobble with anyone that is not a very small stature & were not comfortable. The hostess did have 2 new self inflatable beds delivered the day we arrived, which was helpful with the young in our group to be close to parents. The bedding seemed very dated & seemed like the blankets & comforters were probably not washed very often, so we left them off. The bathrooms had vanities that were very tall. At 5'3", I was really stepping on my tiptoes to reach the basin for brushing my teeth. The kitchen was large with plenty of counter space & pantry space. The kitchen faucet looked nice but the handle kept coming loose. The bedroom that is right inside the back door smelled bad. We couldn't determine what it was, so we kept it closed and did not use it. The washer & dryer work ok but are old & make a loud squeeking noise. The key lockbox was hard to open. The house is on a busy road. Overall the house helped us achieve our goal in visiting our relatives.
When we walked in, the smell of mildew/mold was very potent & hot, but as we turned the air on, it seemed to get somewhat better by spraying febreeze throughout. There were coffee grounds left in the coffee pot with filter. The dishes were left clean in the dishwasher, so we had to unload it. Several lamps didn't work when plugged in & the one upstairs is definitely a fire hazard. We saw several bugs on the floor and in the kitchen window. The master bathtub doesn't hold water as the drain stop doesn't work properly. The bedding in all rooms are worn & outdated & the master bed needs padding as it was too hard to sleep on. Several of the indoor & outdoor chairs were unstable, so several guests stood alot. For a 2 day stay, it wasn't too bad, but I'll look for something closer to the stadium next time. The x-large refrigerator was great for a large group. We had a group of 12 & although the living space was spacious, there is not enough bathrooms to accommodate comfortably, only 3 1/2 baths. 2 couples had to use the hall bath, where there was 3 opened/used bars of soap or share the master bath. Also, the thin toilet paper was a talk of discussion amongst all of us. Fun was had by all, with just an average stay at this home.
