This 1920s home is a delightful place to stay. We enjoyed the antique furnishings, enclosed backyard, all necessary amenities present, and location. Perfect home base to stay and then explore all the Big Bend region has to offer.Highly recommend!
This was a cozy house in a great location. We were able to walk to everything in downtown Alpine, including the visitor center where we picked up a lot of good information. I would highly recommend this place to stay.
Holland House is a great place to stay for a busy weekend in Big Bend
I've been to Alpine before, but this time the Holland House was just the right place for the right visit. It had charm and west Texas elegance. It served as a great central location to drive to the Chisos Mountains for a hike, a drive down the river road from Presidio to Terlingua, and a short hop to Fort Davis for a Star Party at the McDonald Observatory. It close to great local restaurants which served some of the best Tex-Mex food in the state. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage.
We had a wonderful stay at the Holland House. It was comfortable, well-kept, and clean. We had a weekend girls' trip and will likely be back. Thank you, April for sharing this beautiful home!
We enjoyed our stay at Holland House. Location was close to everything. We were even able to walk to some places to stretch our legs after a long car ride. House was clean and well stocked. Some of the doors stuck but that is to be expected in a historic home. The homes interior has been well taken care of. Holland House is a great jumping off point for Big Bend and other local sites of interest. We hope to stay again if weâre back in Alpine.
Beautifully restored home in a great location in town. Quiet street and just a few blocks from all the restaurants and shops. We chose Alpine to be close to Big Bend National Park. Alphine is a great town and this home is awesome!
This cute property was clean, comfortable and very homey! We loved the location, it was super close to restaurants/bars and shopping. The beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of space throughout the whole home.
