Continental Motel - 1 bedroom condo close to beach

Second floor until with tiled bathroom, quartz countertops in kitchen and on built-in island for eating/ working. Large screen cable TV in living room and TV in bedroom; wireless internet. King bed with new Memory Foam mattress and a queen Serta sleeper sofa. Full kitchen includes stove, full refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Laminate floors in throughout. The Continental Motel & Apartments offers our guests cozy, individually owned units that are managed as vacation rentals available for short-term as well as off-season monthly stays. Located on Sunset Beach and just across the street from the Atlantic Ocean allows for a simple walk to the Sunset Beach Pier for fishing, or just to spend the day on the area's finest beach strand. When you are done at the beach, enjoy our outdoor pool for a lap or two (mid-April through late-September based on the weather). You'll find a local market and shops next door to us. Wi-Fi available, On-site Shared Laundry Facility, and 2 grills for that fresh caught dinner. Non-smoking. Dog Friendly, $100 non-refundable pet deposit required, max two small dogs

Parking is limited. 1 parking pass is permitted per unit.
Golf carts are not permitted at the Continental Motel.

Unit was perfect and loved how close it was to the water. Only issue was the door code was not working when we checked in but I called the office and they got it fixed in a few minutes but overall very much enjoyed the place!

Sunset Beach

Good place to stay if you have basic needs and want to be close to the beach. Full size refrigerator, good air conditioning and very comfortable bed. We have friends with a beach house close by and spent most of our time there. We just needed a comfortable place to sleep and it was perfect for that.

Close to the beach

For a long weekend, this was just what we needed. It was great being able to walk to the beach. The room was just fine, like any rental there are always opportunities for upgrades but as far as hotel rentals go, it was fine for us.

Beautiful spot, so close to the beach!

I loved my stay in the condo which was even cuter than pictured. The updated kitchen was a huge bonus, and I loved being able to enjoy Netflix on the tvs in the living area and bedroom on rainy days. The unit was clean, and the management was super responsive (almost instantaneously) when there was an internet outage. I loved the convenience of the electronic lock with code, and was thrilled with the super comfortable bed. I'd definitely stay here again on future visits to the area!

Weekend Stay

We stayed two nights in this Continental Inn Apt. Unfortunately, the faucet in the bathroom was only a trickle so we were forced to use the kitchen sink. Also, the TV did not work, and although we were there to view potential property purchases, this was the 1st weekend of March Madness. My call to maintenance went unreturned. I was also forwarded to their after hour line when I was clearly within the published office hours for Sloane Vacations.

Great Location BUT ....

First night, quiet; next night party on the walkway outside the 2nd floor rooms with loud music (portable speaker), loud singing, & hard-core drinking. Couldn't sit in my unit's living room because the party was so loud. ... Pluses: kitchen was very well equipped, linens were clean, mattress seemed soft at first, but was actually very comfortable. Oh! And the couch was great. Overall, if you aren't too picky about cleanliness or noise and want a great location and the option to make your own meals; this unit works.
