So this property was on the second story of a lovely home with a view of the lake. The layout and basic furnishings were top notch. For example, the couches, bed, furniture, kitchen layout etc. However, when you come expecting to cook and the kitchen is so poorly equipped, that is a disappointment. The T-Fal pot was peeling, the coffee pot was dirty, there was not enough silverware, no measuring cups, oven dishes to cook or bake in, there was a ton of empty cupboard space which should be used to store cooking supplies for the guests. In addition, there was no hairdryer, no bathmat, no kitchen towels and the shower curtain was a dirty liner. Since there was only one nearby restaurant, being able to cook at the property is essential. There are many articles online about how to supply a vacation rental. I suggest the owners provide what is lacking. In addition, I almost froze one of the nights. There was no directions on how to work heat. There seemed to be 2 systems but the thermostat appeared to need batteries. I tried calling the number provided but no answer. There should also be an after hours number posted in the unit.
