À propos de cet hébergement

Belle propriété sur le côté de la baie de l'île, dans un quartier familial calme. La maison parfaite pour vos prochaines vacances en famille.

Notre grande salle avec des plafonds cathédrale et de grandes fenêtres donnent à cette maison une sensation d'espace. Portes françaises qui ouvrent sur un grand porche sud apporter l'extérieur tropicaux luxuriants pour vous. Notre maison dispose également d'une grande cuisine entièrement équipée, avec un assortiment complet d'ustensiles et appareils pour la salle à manger et la cuisine divertissant. Des sièges supplémentaires sur le porche est idéal pour les dîners de famille ou une excellente vue sur les feux d'artifice du vendredi soir.

Les deux chambres sont garnies de moquette, ont dressings à ranger valises, et ont salles de bain complètes, avec beaucoup d'espace pour toute la famille! Il est seulement une courte promenade à la plage ou le quartier des divertissements, mais assez loin pour la paix et la tranquillité.

Great space and location

We really enjoyed the second floor space with this amazing terrace. Our host was most gracious. The location was central and close to the supermarket and restaurants. When we got back to SPI, we will check and see if this property is available. Thank you!

Great place that exceeded expectations

This is a fantastic place for families and a fun time. We visited from Colorado but are Texas transplants. We would definitely rent this unit again. My family really loved our time in SPI. Thank you to the host. We will be back.

Wonderful Experience

We were a large crew with 4 kids and had a great stay. We had a private entrance and access to the entire upstairs and back yard. A spacious balcony and living area with a well stocked kitchen. The host was very easy to contact and quick to respond. Very accommodating :) Thank you for helping make our trip to South Padre one to remember!

Not bad

Chas and his family are good people. Was a little nervous about having them downstairs from us especially with a mouthy beagle and an autistic son that screams at times. He constantly assured us that it was no problem. I even saw him and hisnfamily a few times in passing and they were nothing but polite. Now for the review. The check in and check out was easy and painless. Communication with Chas was awesome. He was fast to reply and always upbeat. The location was great. Just far enough away from everything, but close enough at the same time. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue. There multiple items were dirt upon arrival. The toaster oven in the kitchen, coffee maker, dirt and dog hair under the furniture, couch cushions, etc. There was also cockroaches that were seen scampering around outside. I understamd they they take care of this themselves, and it shows, but it was still a great place to stay and would stay again if we come down to SPI. Thanks Chas and family for a great visit.

Chas is a very responsive owner. He takes care of all details and checks in often to ensure everything is fine on the property. The property has a great location for nearby restaurants and amusements. Everything is exactly as described in the details. We will definitely return again in the future.

Our go to rental when visiting SPI!

2nd stay at this property. It was just as great as the first time. Great location on quiet street that is a 15 min walk or short drive to two beach access points - one with parking, one without. Spacious setup. We had 2 adults, 2 elementay age kids, and 2 dogs - 55 and 71 lbs and didn't feel cramped or packed like sardines. Nice outside balcony with seating. Provide everything, including beach accessories: chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and some toys. We recommend booking for your SPI stay!

Lovely!

The Hofmeisters were beyond accommodating and courteous hosts. We also never even would have known they were inhabiting the other unit in the house if it wasn’t prior knowledge. The back yard was beautiful and the patio was fun to sit on and listen to all the birds. We really appreciated being able to rent with 3 dogs. It’s so hard to find places where that is allowed. We enjoyed the photo puzzles on one of the rainy days too. Would absolutely recommend!

Great getaway weekend on the island!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on SPI! The house was nice, and the balcony was a lovely spot to hang out and cook on the grill. Getting to the beach was a short 5-minute drive. I definitely would not walk there. It would have been nice to have a washer and dryer, which this property does not have. The host was super easy to communicate with. I recommend this VRBO property!

Great pet friendly place for us and our hounds! We enjoyed being close to restaurants, shopping, gravity park and more! The air conditioning is amazing at the property was a huge perk for us Colorado folks!

Great place

At first I was a little nervous when I found out that the host lives on the bottom floor because I get places from Vrbo for privacy. But we only saw them outside in passing like any other neighbor situation. They were really nice and we really enjoyed our stay. The mosquitos in the back were HORRIBLE though. I do have welts all over from trying to hang out on the patio. They have a lot of stagnant water in tubs in their back yard. Otherwise all was well. Clean beds, clean bathrooms. Great AC. Cable was a nice plus especially because in the afternoon the internet wasn’t that great. Oh and they have beach toys and chairs that came in clutch for us! We also loved that they had a hose to rinse off with out front. All the way around the house was really nice. Beautiful. Comfortable. And a great place to stay.

Good time

Owners live on property. Saying that bc there was no where on vrbo that says that. Only found out once I went on owners website. This property is on 2nd floor and owners live underneath. My sons in the guest room said when owners would open the garage door it was very loud. I didnt hear it in the main room. There is also construction going on very close to the house right now they are redoing the street. Everything else was fine.

Amazing Stay

Chas was an amazing host who checked in with us periodically to make sure we were comfortable and didn’t have any issues. This house was very conveniently located to all the action and provided a backstreet to go around all the traffic on the main street. I had pets as well and the neighborhood provided areas for me to walk my dogs. The house provided an upstairs unit that is rented out above the host’s family and you enter through the downstairs foyer, where he gives you access to beach necessities such as umbrellas and chairs, which were quite useful. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach so if you have a lot of beach items, I strongly suggest you bring your own wagon. He also provides beach towels and cookware if you need it—anything that you use at home, he provided. Great patio space to do yoga in the mornings as well as plenty of room to get privacy away from your family if needed. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful house!

Weather was very bad for the dates we booked. Owner Chas was very considerate and let us choose other available dates. Check in process was simple and easy. Good wifi connection. House was very clean and I like the vibes in the house. Furniture had wear and tears and was pretty old. Kitchen was spacious, bathroom was big enough and clean. Lots of beach towels, chairs and umbrella was kept by owner which was very helpful. Patio was large and my dog loved the backyard. So many trees in the backyard - good tropical feeling. Beach access is just 4 min walk. Nice calm neighbohood. Honestly, I loved everything about this property. Definetly going back again. Thank you Chas for having us. We had a wonderful time.

They love spending time with their children while tending the back yard & garden or tidying the house, or enjoying all the island has to offer.
