Great stay!!

This was a great place to stay! Close to the park and bar harbor but far enough away to enjoy a quite night out by the fire. The hosts are amazing!! So helpful and responsive. We all joked that we had some of the best sleep on our stay. I 100% recommend staying here.

Great location, big yard and so well stocked. We had 6 adults and 2 kids which was perfect. 12 people would have been tight with only 2 full baths. Travis was an excellent host and was readily available for questions.

Fantastic Property

This property was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. We easily enjoyed time at Acadia, Bar Harbor and Ellsworth. Our family of 11 was able to use the well-equipped kitchen easily. Travis was very responsive to any questions we had both during our visit and before. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Great house and location in Ellsworth

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The kids in our group loved the game room and we made good use of the games available! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes/cooking tools, etc. and there was a brand new grill which was great. More than enough linens, towels, wash cloths provided. The beds were very comfortable. We had a wonderful time exploring Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Our 10-person party enjoyed this 5-BR property. Very convenient to Ellsworth and also an easy drive to Acadia National Park. Nice back yard with fire pit. Kids had a blast in the arcade/game room. Property owner is very responsive to renter queries. We enjoyed the comfortable living room and the eating setup worked perfectly to have kids in kitchen and adults in dining room. Appliances and TV’s were in good working order. Overall very pleased.

Ellsworth stay

We stayed in Ellsworth for our grandaughters baptism. There 10 of us that stayed there. There was plenty of room for us all. The game room was a real treat. The host were very accommodating and understanding of my error in the check in date. Will definitely stay there again.

Perfect for 2 large families

We loved this house. It was perfect for 2 large families to stay and vacation together. The kids enjoyed the game room immensely. We appreciated the grill to use for dinners. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and even had a griddle for pancakes. Ellsworth is a great town with plenty of convenient grocery stores and restaurants. We spent most of our time in Acadia and this house was a great location at about 25 minutes away.

Great for a family

This property was comfortable and family- friendly. Well equipped for small children—right down to the plates, cups and utensils. Plenty of space— five bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths comfortably accommodated our family of 11 including two toddlers. Plenty of sheets and towels— washer and dryer for convenience. The game room was a plus!On busy Route 1, but fairly quiet and conveniently located to downtown. The weather prevented us from using the deck and large backyard. Plenty of parking. Overall it was a great space for us.

A total of 24 family members reunited near Acadia National Park in July. Four families (10 adults and two small kids) stayed at this Ellsworth VRBO which had ample room and conveniences. Hosts were super responsive in answering questions and requests. Location was terrific- walking distance to downtown and easy driving distance to Bar Harbor and Park attractions. The game room was a real hit with my nephews!

Family stay

Property is on a very busy and noisy street. House needs some minor repairs inside and outside. The back and front yard need to be more manicured. 16 miles does not sound far from Acadia but with traffic it would always take 45 minutes or so to get there. Other than that all of us enjoyed our stay.

Well stocked home, close to town

We had an excellent stay at this home in Ellsworth, Maine! The host Travis is very responsive to messages. He gave lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do in town and nearby. We had three total families stay, five kids and six adults. And we all had lots of space to spread out! Parents all had their own rooms, and kids happily shared. The game room was a favorite hang out for dads and kids! The kitchen was stocked with coffee, filters, basic spices, and olive oil, in addition to plenty of dishes for our group! We would definitely stay there again!

We are natives of the Midwest and Southeast that somehow made our way to Texas. We live in a small house, drive old beat up cars, and spend as little as possible so we can travel and create memories with our daughters (and some without them). We can't wait to host you!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our family friendly, centrally located home is the perfect spot to nest on your trip to Downeast Maine and Acadia National Park. You have access to Mount Desert Island without being stuck on it. Ellsworth has a unique charm, great local shops, and let's face it - being 5 minutes from a Walmart Supercenter is just downright helpful.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Amenities include a game room with vintage arcade games, foosball, ring on a string, and board games. Spend time outside around the fire pit, on the back deck, firing up the gas grill, or playing one of the many yard games provided (corn hole, washer, kan jam, and ladder ball). Our fully stocked kitchen allows you to convince yourself that you are actually going to cook during your way. And the two King beds...you don't want to go on vacation and sleep on a queen or full. Even if you draw the short draw and end up on a queen, full, or bunk beds, you'll be fine since all of our beds have memory foam mattresses.

For heating and cooling - we have traditional furnace heat as well as a mini split A/C and heat in the living room. Ceiling fans have also been installed in the living room and bedrooms. .
