Get ready to experience the charm and beauty of Monteagle! Our stunning 1920s home is perfectly situated in the heart of town, offering easy access to all the amazing attractions this quaint community has to offer. Take a stroll on the nearby Mountain Goat Trail or try out the delicious cuisine at High Point Restaurant, Mountain Goat Market, Locals Bar & Grill, and beyond. With just a short drive, you can explore the University of the South Sewanee, The Caverns, and South Cumberland State Park. Inside, our spacious home boasts a large open kitchen and dining room, a welcoming living room, and a cozy family room. With enough space for up to 10 guests, this home features 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Full, and 1 Queen sleep sofa and two full bathrooms. You'll love relaxing under the beautiful oak trees on the covered front porch, or enjoying meals and making memories on the long side deck.

Awesome spot!

We had a group of a few couples who stayed there for a wedding in monteagle and it was perfect! Spacious, clean, and plenty of towels and items we needed for a quick weekend trip

Such fun!

We all loved our visit to your precious home. The kitchen was beautifully stocked, and we really enjoyed the cozy robes. The only thing that was missing was live tv so we could watch college basketball.

Hiking trip for girlfriends

The house was wonderful!!! This is our second stay here. We did a bike ride in the fall, and came back in the winter to hike. The house is convenient to everything. Beds are comfortable and house is well stocked. No better place to stay!!

Perfect weekend getaway

My bestie and i absolutely loved this place, and can’t wait to come back. It’s definitely worth coming back to, especially since there’s more stuff in the area we want to explore. Also, on top of the perfect coziness of the home, we had the unexpected surprise of seeing a Christmas parade, We had a front row seat and didn’t even have to go outside.

Nice, well-appointed rental

This is a nice, well-kept, well-appointed property. The owners have been thoughtful about their lay out, items for their renters, and ease of use of the property. The check-in and check-out instructions are easy to access and there was nothing difficult about them!

Top Notch Property!

Excellent in every way. Great location. Extremely well maintained home - fully equipped. Interior space is bright, fresh and well appointed. Plenty of deck space and lawn for dogs to stretch their legs.

Relaxing and Fun

We have a great time. We were located near so many hiking trails. The house was so clean and had a great yard for our kids to play in. We loved putting puzzles together in the kitchen and cooking meals. We look forward to staying here again.

Bedding was great and very comfortable. Lots of sweet touches available such as robes after showering.

There is lots of street traffic noise at night but, it is centrally located. The only thing missing was salt and pepper shakers. Otherwise nice and clean and comfortable beds!

Beautiful home perfect for getaway

From the moment you pull in the driveway you can see all the attention to detail that was put into this home. Fully stocked and very inviting. You truly hate to leave this property. It is very large and accommodates many people comfortably. Recommended to anyone looking to stay in the area, location is perfect!

Beautiful and Restful

Beautiful house nestled in downtown Monteagle was the perfect stay for our family. We were able to find all the necessary amenities and supplies for us. Very comfortable beds. There were some great features as well as patio and porch. The kids enjoyed the games and puzzles. Plenty of towels and ability to do laundry. Nice kitchen and sitting areas. Very clean and well kept.

Awesome Location and house

Friends and I stayed here for New Years weekend and had an awesome time. House was very clean and well stocked with lots of "extras". Mattresses were comfortable in all three bedrooms and couch was great for hanging out and watching football and movies. Location is close to several restaurants and many hiking trails. Samantha was friendly and very helpful and I highly recommend this property.

Daughter’s wedding

We booked a week at this property to get ready for my daughters wedding. We made family meals, got ready for the rehearsal and the wedding there. There was plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen had everything we needed. Even the washer and dryer came in handy.

Darling Cottage

This property was picture perfect—the cutest house in Monteagle. It was very close to Sewanee. It was so well equipped with everything one might need, even down to extra, individually wrapped toothbrushes and razors, in case those had been forgotten. The kitchen had everything you might need. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms neat and clean, and all the decor was very charming.

Along with sharing this home to travelers, I own a natural soy candle business called Highland Bluff Studio that offers book-inspired scents. I also contract remotely as a Salesforce Administrator. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and travel. I am on a mission to restore old homes in the area, and I began with this 1920s home in Monteagle, TN. I am excited to share and support the history and beauty that Tennessee's South Cumberland has to offer!
