Light and airy modern guest house nestled in a private oasis in Tucson's historic neighborhood of West University. Equipped with a full kitchen and bath! Walk to U of A, Pima Community College, University Blvd, 4th Ave shopping & boutiques, and just minutes from downtown nightlife! Stay minutes from all the excitement, without the noise and enjoy an open fire and beer in the backyard under the pink Az sky.
The stay was fantastic! Perfect size for 2 guests. The courtyard was comfortable and we enjoyed spending time outside relaxing on the patio. Great location within reasonable walking distance of downtown Tucson.
Worked out great for dropping daughter at U of A. Not walking distance or at least through that neighborhood but felt safe especially with lock on gate. Thank you!
Adorable property with plenty of room for a single or couple. Nicely equipped kitchen and bathroom, comfortable bed, and large TV. Loved all the storage nooks but could use a small dresser. Biggest issue was cleanliness. First night found an old blood stain on one of the pillowcases - ick. Suggest replacing sheets and towels regularly and better cleaning of floors. Location was convenient to everywhere I wanted to go. The lock on the metal gate needs to be replaced - the back fell off on day 2.

The property was ok clean wise, but overall not as posted. Door to bathroom broken bottom hinge, could not close it; thermostat needed a battery; bathroom faucet loose; needed set screw on kitchen faucet; only 1 little bedside table & lamp & lamp didn't work; could not hook up to internet (owner did answer our message but still had problems) finally gave up; biggest thing..."security" gate to yard was totally broke with only a stone holding it in place. Only place outside to sit, and chairs shown inpuctures not there.
Pros:
- Super Clean
- Newly Updated/Renovated
- Close to Freeway Access
- Filtered Water
- Large TV in Bedroom with Subscription Services
- Well Equipped Kitchen and Utensils
- Perfect for a Solo Traveler & Maybe a Couple
- Responsive Host
Cons:
- Security Door to Backyard Canât Be Locked from Inside the Backyard (Which didnât feel very safe).
- Back Patio Area is A Shared Space with No Privacy from Main House
- No Door Between Bedroom and Kitchen (not great for a baby or someone napping).
- Fire-pit Was Under Trees (Not able to safely have a fire).
- Mini Fridge / Freezer Was Very Small
- Just a Little Too Far to Easily Walk to Downtown Restaurants & Bars
- Thin (No-light blocking) Curtains on the Windows.
Overall itâs a very clean place to stay that is newly remodeled and super cute. Perfect for a solo traveler or maybe a couple. Definitely way too small for anyone traveling with a baby or toddler.
