Big Bear Cabin is an immaculate mountain home located in Gateway Mountain's 3,000-acre nature preserve. Enjoy access to lush wooded forests, gorgeous waterfalls, and stunning mountaintop views. The community also has two small lakes and a trout pond for catch-and-release fishing (no license required). The cabin is a mere 1-mile hike to the private community waterfall and is just up the hill from the swimming area and fishing pond by Lake George.
About the Home
• Impressive living room with 25' high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling views, Roku Smart TV, and wood-burning fireplace.
• Well-appointed kitchen with dishwasher, Keurig, drip-style coffee maker, and eat-in dining for 6.
• Upper-level loft, overlooking the living room, provides a dedicated workspace (desk & chair, monitor, HDMI cable, keyboard & mouse) and Smart TV.
• Garage game room with pool table, ping-pong table, pop-a-shot basketball, and air hockey.
• Spacious deck with covered and open-air seating, bistro-style lighting, and a hot tub overlooking long-range mountain views.
• Wood burning fire pit with seating for 5.

• Main floor primary bedroom with king-size bed and en suite bathroom with large soaking tub and walk-in shower.
• Main floor bedroom with queen-size bed; a full bathroom, with bathtub and shower combination, can be accessed from the hallway.

We also recommend travel insurance for those staying in the Gateway Mountain development during the winter months. No parking is allowed on roadways or at gate entrances. No RVs, boat trailers, camping trailers, or trailers of any kind are permitted in the Gateway Mountain Community.
