Nestled in the quiet seclusion of a gated wildlife preserve, this three-story, three-bedroom, three-bath log cabin, affectionately named Willy Bear, is just a 15-minute drive from Black Mountain and the perfect vacation getaway for your group. Enjoy a variety of spacious outdoor areas, including a hot tub, deck, and fire pit. Relax on two screened porches -- there's even a swinging bed for afternoon naps.

Check out nearby Catawba Falls, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and downtown Black Mountain.

LIVING AREA

With gleaming hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings, the rustic-chic living room offers an ultra-comfortable retreat. Enjoy the warm ambiance of the gas fireplace while watching a movie on the 42inch TV with Blu-ray and Roku.

KITCHEN & DINING

Work your culinary magic in a well-appointed kitchen, outfitted with beautiful granite countertops, a gas range, double sink, and dishwasher.

BED & BATH

This three-level home sleeps 10 guests between the three bedrooms. There is a futon available in the loft overlooking the living room as well as in the detached garage.

The master bedroom has a king bed, walk-in closet, 33inch TV, a desk and access to a screened porch. Just outside the door, a bathroom has a walk-in shower.

Upstairs, the second bedroom has a full-size bed, twin bed, twin trundle and a walk-in closet.

The lower-level third bedroom includes a queen bed, a full-size sleeper sofa, a beverage cooler, and a 33inch TV with a DVD player.

Stocked with a complimentary starter supply of toiletries, the guest bathroom has a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREA

A hot tub promises ultimate relaxation and a wraparound porch has rocking chair seating for two and a table for four.

There is a screened porch off the master bedroom with seating for two, as well as a screened lower porch with picnic seating for eight, two rocking chairs, two armchairs, and a full-size swinging bed.

A lower deck offers a fire pit and bar seating for two.

Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and washer/dryer. There is parking for four vehicles in the driveway.

Cell phone reception can occasionally be spotty on some carriers in this lovely mountainous area.

LOCATION

The surrounding area is rife with opportunities for swimming, rafting, ziplining, biking, and skiing. It's also central to a variety of must-see attractions.

Drive 11 miles to Catawba Falls or 16 miles to iconic Chimney Rock for hiking and panoramic views. Or head 32 miles to downtown Asheville and popular area attractions like Grove Park Inn and the Biltmore Estate. And it's just 59 miles to Pisgah National Forest Preserve. This home is situated on a gated wildlife preserve within walking distance to many hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls.

-Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
-No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

-All properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.
