About Lake Leelanau:
Lake Leelanau runs 21 miles through the middle of the Leelanau Peninsula in northern Michigan. It is connected to Lake Michigan via the Leland River in Leland, MI, home of historic Fishtown. The entire lake includes two bodies of water, usually referred to as North Lake Leelanau and South Lake Leelanau, connected by âthe narrowsâ in the village of Lake Leelanau.
As summer comes to the Leelanau Peninsula, you will enjoy the areaâs stunning scenery, the lakeâs clear fresh water, boating, fishing, restaurants, shopping, and much more.
