We were impressed by the cleanliness both inside and out. Well appointed with everything you need. We loved the location too. So very calm and quiet. We LOVED this place!Thank you so much to our hosts!
This cottage was absolutely beautifulâŠinside and out! The deck was very clean and was a favorite spot for coffee in the morning and anytime throughout the day. The view from the deck was breathtaking! The little towns that we shopped in were so much funâŠespecially Fishtown! We loved exploring the area, loved Sleeping Bear Dunes and loved the hike over to Lake MichiganâŠ.beautiful!
What a special gem to have found! The home is beautiful and cozy. The views are amazing. The water is crystal clear. The host is very helpful, attentive and kind. The close-by trail to hike over to Lake Michigan was peaceful, fun and inspiring. I will be back!
While the house is old and a little funky, the location on the lake can't be beat. We really enjoyed our week long stay in mid-August. Just wish the two bathrooms could be modernized (fans added, for example), and that the beds were more comfortable (they were WAY too soft). The kayaks and paddleboard are nice, though the rowboat has oars of two different sizes and is very cumbersome to work with. But all in all, a nice place to enjoy a week in the Leelanau/Glen Arbor area.
We had a great time at our home away from home. I could tell the owner takes pride in her home. We had everything we needed and plenty of space. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds on the deck, making s'mores by the fire, and of course the lake which was perfect for swimming and for kids of all ages. The boats were a great addition too!
We had a long weekend family vacation at this property. The location on the lake and the local amenities are hard to beat. The lake is shallow for a long way out so the kids (big and small) were able to enjoy a lot of time in the lake. Thereâs a hiking trail just down the road that leads to a beautiful beach on Lake Michigan. Glen Arbor is one of our favorite places in Northern Michigan with good shops and great restaurants.
Our family had a great stay at the cottage. We had seven of us and there was plenty of room. Great location (between Glen Arbor and Leland) and the lake was wonderful. The deck and views were great and it was a super place to relax. We also really enjoyed Good Harbor beach which was very close. We will likely stay again.
The check-in process was smooth, and the house had everything we needed for two families. The house is on the sandy side of the lake, and the road is quiet with a large driveway. Wifi was solid, and plenty of games were available for the kids. A short walk to a trail to Lake Michigan, where you have Good Harbor Bay to yourself.
We much enjoyed our time at this beautiful home on Little Traverse Lake. Spotlessly clean and we appointed. Sharon as a pleasure to deal with and very responsible. We would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you for the privilege of staying in your home Sharon.
This home is in the perfect location, halfway between Leland and Glen Arbor. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the beautiful view of Little Traverse Lake. It was fun to take the rowboat out to paddle around in the clear water of the lake, and we especially liked the trail through the woods to Lake Michigan. The kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed.
The location of this home was ideal, about halfway between Glen Arbor and Leland, and a short drive to Sutton's Bay. The lake was clean, clear, with a sandy bottom and we had no trouble with
swimmer's itch. The kayaks and rowboat added to our fun. The cottage was well-appointed with lots of towels and very comfortable beds and bedding. The kitchen overlooked an expansive d toeck with lots of seating and views of Sugar Loaf Mountain. The owner was very responsive and helpful with a few minor issues. We liked the up north cottage feel of the home with modern amenities.

The size, layout, and location of this Little Traverse Lake property created a wonderful vacation for a family of six. We enjoyed the clear lake water, quiet surrounding, and ample space. We were close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor (Glen Lake), Leland, and Traverse City. Sharon was quick to respond when needed. Thank you for sharing your space with us.
Loved the shallow lake shore at the house, and use of the kayaks and paddleboard. Family spent hours in the lake.
Quiet and lovely. Only a short drive to the Dunes and small towns nearby.
The teenager and 11 year old loved the âsleeping porchâ, leaving plenty of bedrooms for the other four of us.
Beautiful and comfortable stay on little traverse lake! There was more than enough space for 5 kids to sleep and stay in the extra room off the back that the kids loved. The outdoor space and area was beautiful with plenty of space for everyone to sit, eat, rest and play. We enjoyed everything about our stay, we even love the location between Glen arbor and fish town! We canât wait to plan another family vacation!
We stayed at this wonderful family lake home for 4 nights. The house was very well stocked with everything you might need for your stay. We loved the lake and having use of the paddle board, and kayaks. There were several little towns close to our house that had cute little shops and restaurants. We especially love the town of Leland and the Cove restaurant. If you are able to I would buy groceries in a bigger town before you get to the house. The grocery store in Glen Arbor is called Andersonâs and itâs pretty small and very expensive. Not the best if youâre buying for several people. We will def return to this house!!
We have stayed in numerous homes "up north" over the last 10 years and this cozy home nestled in a quiet neighborhood right on Little Traverse Lake is by far our favorite. The house was clean and well-stocked. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out. We enjoyed hiking and biking on nearby trails. Each morning we would take a leisure ride in the row boat, enjoying the fall colors. In the evenings we relaxed by the fire. The entire trip left us rejuvenated and restored. Sharon was beyond helpful in answering our questions and very quick to respond. We will definitely plan to come back!
House was clean and comfortable. The property was well-maintained. We enjoyed sitting out on the large deck as well as the sea wall across the lakefront. Beautiful views of the lake from both inside and outside. We would definitely stay here again.
