If you are looking for an authentic Cajun experience, then look no further! Maison Bon Temps was the home of the 2001 Crawfish Queen! From the custom cypress wainscoting to the crawfish capital of the world decor, this home oozes everything that is special about the Cajun culture. This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home sits on a large lot with pool and pool house that has another full bathroom. The backyard oasis has a large patio that is great for entertaining and the ice cold pool is sure to beat the heat!

Conveniently located right off of I-10 this gem is minutes from Cajun Palms RV Resort, the Atchafalaya Basin, Lake Martin, Bayou Teche Brewery, and an abundance of restaurants specializing in the Cajun food that put Breaux Bridge on the map. Downtown Breaux Bridge will entice all of your senses. Cross the famous crawfish adorned bridge for local favorites like Award wining Cafe Sydnie Mae, the world famous Zydeco Breakfast at Buck and Johnny’s, antique shopping, and Joie de Vivre coffee shop. Take in a swamp tour on the Atchafalaya Basin and finish off the evening dancing the night away at La Poussiere Cajun Dancehall that has been open since 1955.

Breaux Bridge is only 10 miles from The Lafayette Regional Airport and The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, home of the Ragin Cajuns!

Spectacular

The home was perfectly clean and decorated. I could tell walking in it is a well loved and cared fore property. Absolutely perfect for family, we had 2 young kids and 2 dogs. The fence was great! Outdoor area and pool were amazing as well. No complaints whatsoever.

Bedbugs in one of the bedrooms ruined my trip.

I was severely bitten by bedbugs in the middle bedroom. I scheduled a doctor's appointment for all the bites on my back, legs, arms , and hands. I didn't enjoy my stay because I was inching from the bed bugs. My trip was ruined.

Great pool

Last vacay before school. Kids loved the pool. House was perfect for our group. Minutes from grocery store and attractions. Very quiet area.

Perfect place to relax with friends and family!

This is the second year we rent the house during the summer and plan to make it a new tradition! :) Its always super clean and the backyard is wonderful. We will be back. The owners are great and left us snacks and a watermelon. Can't say enough good things about the house.

Our Stay

You have a very beautiful home. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Set around the pool and just visited with everyone. Location was easy to find and was easy to get to our wedding we attended. Thank you very much for telling us say in your home. Would recommend it to everyone.

Perfect home away from home after long road trip!!

We LOVED our stay at this home. I am extremely particular about cleanliness, and this home was spotless. The beds were all very comfortable, the linens nice, extra blankets, and lots of room for a family of six to spread out. The kids LOVED the pool. It was huge, clean, and so much fun. Just what was needed after eight hours on the road. The outdoor gazebo with stereo was the perfect place to relax with a beer and watch the sun go down. It's a peaceful, rural location, set back from the road with no traffic noise. The house decor is charming, crawfish pics everywhere!! The kitchen is very well stocked and we were able to easily make dinner and breakfast no problem...plenty of everything you'd need. I loved that the hostess provided up with a few laundry tabs for the washing machine, coffee and filters, and dishwasher tablets. As we were only there one night, these things all came in handy. We would absolutely stay again, there were too many nice touches to mention. The hostess had a sweet little snack pack for us on the kitchen table with soda, chips, treats and a kind note of welcome. All details were thought of, and we were most appreciative!

Great home.

Master bed really should be a king, and should definitely be in better condition
. The bed sags in the middle and my husband and I slept horribly. Kids beds were way better than the primary bed for the adults that are paying for the rental.

Incredible property! The house is great with everything you could need including treats the hosts leave for you. Backyard and pool are a dream. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Needed to call about a small issue and they were there within the hour fixing the issue. This is our 3rd time staying here and will continue to make it a yearly trip.

Excellent Property!

This is one of the cleanest and most well maintained VRBOs that we have stayed in. The house was well stocked and comfortable. The backyard and pool area was a wonderful place to relax and cool off from the summer heat. The host was extremely helpful. If more than 5 stars were available we would award the additional stars.

Family time for the weekend getaway

Great place inside and out. Mosquitos a night with lights on at pool need zappers. Lol. Not far at all from attractions and other shopping and eating out plus Breaux bridge very close too. Love coming here.

Great Stay!

This is my 2nd stay at this home. Again, it is cozy and very clean. We had a small gathering for my daughter's graduation, and the back yard area and pool were amazing. We had a fantastic stay, close to great restaurants and a beautiful Catholic church. Feels just like home, even better.

Thanksgiving trip.

We stayed here for thanksgiving to visit family and it was a very nice location they had a fire wood set up in the firepit and Cajun music playing on the radio when we walked out side. We were also left with a snores kit which was a fun family thing to do in the back yard. We also loved the recommendations left by the host for places to eat we went to little big cup and really enjoyed the food. Thanks for a nice stay!

Girls Trip

The backyard pool, where we spent most of our time, was exquisite. The house was big enough for us all and we all slept comfortably. We had a hot water issue that was resolved right away by the owners. Very nice neighborhood and great getaway.

Amazing Backyard

The house is nice and comfortable, but the backyard is just amazing. There is a pool, firepit, really nice cornhole set, and tiki-bar area. The tiki-bar hides a bathroom with shower and toilet so you don't have to go inside while swimming. There are a lot of toys to play with in the pool. We had a blast.

Breaux Bridge House

This was the perfect place for our family vacation! The house was immaculate, the pool was so refreshing after a hot day at the Crawfish festival and the beds were comfortable. We totally enjoyed our stay and 100% recommend!
