We're directly located off S Lee Hwy, which makes this rental centrally located to several breweries, wedding venues, restaurants, I81 and more! The host was very welcoming, very communicative with us, and overall we had an amazing time. The house is adorable, the artwork on the walls and knickknacks scattered throughout ties everything together. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was thoroughly cleaned and amazing to sit in when the nights got a little chilly. Natural Bridge state park is only about 10 minutes away so we went to see that, the hike was gorgeous. We will be booking this place again.

What a charming house! It was very spacious and the host thought of everything. It was well stocked with everything you could think of, down to the slippers for walking out to the hot tub.

This house was the perfect place to stay for our vacation. It exceeded our expectations. Tasha was a wonderful host and very communicative throughout the process. As soon as you walk in the house, you feel right at home. The house gives off a very cozy vibe. The bed is very comfortable. The house is equipped with everything you would need while on vacation. The house is spotless and equipped with everything you could need for a small family getaway. Toys, games, and linens, even hot tub robes were available. The water pressure was really low, but we learned not to flush the toilet before washing your hands or when taking a shower. The decor was not what was pictured. They have added *a lot*. The owners obviously love signs. Having Christmas decorations up with all of the extra wall decor made it feel chaotic. It didn’t affect our stay, but it was tough for the family members that had sensory issues. As pristine as the house was inside, the landscaping needed attention. The house is close to the road, but the sound didn’t bother us. The sheets are polyester, and considering there’s no air conditioning unit in two of the bedrooms, because it was warm outside, it was hot our first night despite having the door open and the fans on. If you aren’t a particularly light sleeper who is overly sensitive to really busy decor, this place is a great option. Location was perfect for our trip. Check in was easy. Owner’s instructions were very clear. Home was priced appropriately.

My husband Brian and I renovated this Buffalo Bend Cottage so visiting guests like you could experience our amazing area close enough to the most popular Lexington and surrounding area attractions while being on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle. We are both self employed; I'm a professional cleaner and he's a professional HVAC installation and Service Technician, and together we can accomplish most anything. We love our area; fishing, hiking, swimming, kayaking, and our current hobby - riding Indian motorcycles, and we invite you to be our guest so you and yours can make memories of your very own.

Our property is quiet, private, comfy, and offer many amenities other listings do not. A property where 5 miles in one direction has you in downtown Lexington and 5 miles the other direction has you admiring the beautiful countryside of Rockbridge County, nestled at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near many other hidden gem attractions. We are centrally located near most the top attractions that bring tourists and visitors to Lexington and surrounding areas. Whether it's the Zoo, Safari Park, Washington & Lee University, Virginia Military Institute, breweries, hiking, kayaking, biking, golfing - Buffalo Bend is just minutes away! We welcome YOU to be our guest.

Not only do guests have access to the entire 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage with awesome front porch seating, a separate covered pavilion with additional outdoor seating and propane fire pit, but we ALSO have creek front property. How awesome is it to walk across the street and be in nature! The Buffalo creek flows directly in front of the house, across Rt. 11. Take a stroll around the property, hike around, dip your toes in the water and admire the random wildlife the wooded area and waterway offers. Remember: Soak it in, Relax, Unwind, and Rejuvenate during your stay!
