We're directly located off S Lee Hwy, which makes this rental centrally located to several breweries, wedding venues, restaurants, I81 and more! We had a wonderful stay. The house was very cute! We loved all the wall decor and cute nicnacs, it gave a very home like feel. The kitchen is full stocked with everything you need to whip up a meal. The living room was set up perfect for a movie before bed or epic family gaming night. The bedrooms were set up perfect. My youngest, being 6 enjoyed all the toys and the kitchen play set in her bedroom, she barley played with the toys she packed.The beds are very comfortable. The hot tub and outdoor sitting area was set up perfectly.We enjoyed soaking out in the hot tub every night after exploring the area and hiking. We had fun cooking steaks out on the charcoal grill and roasting marshmallows. We give you a 10/10!! We will definitely book again for future family get aways.

This house was the perfect place to stay for our vacation. It exceeded our expectations. Tasha was a wonderful host and very communicative throughout the process. As soon as you walk in the house, you feel right at home. The house gives off a very cozy vibe. The bed is very comfortable. The house is equipped with everything you would need while on vacation. What a charming house! It was very spacious and the host thought of everything. It was well stocked with everything you could think of, down to the slippers for walking out to the hot tub.

Quick Get away

We picked this Vrbo because it was so close to the Natural Bridge and the Safari Park. The location was perfect, about 10 minutes to both. The house was cozy and the Wi-Fi awesome. My 3 and 6 year old played and played with the toys! And my bigger girls played with the cards and chess board. It was a good stay.

Delightful road trip oasis!

Such a convenient location with short drives to stores and the Animal Safari. The home is very clean and full of anything you could need to feel at home. The hottub robes and slippers were a sweet amenity that made the kids feel special. We enjoyed the cozy bedrooms and living room, and the hottub and outdoor fire, both days. We also cooked and enjoyed the dining area for good family time. Host was easy to communicate with before and after. We recommend staying here if you ever have the opportunity!

The house smelled clean when we walked in and it was very clean. Decor was very cute. Had everything we needed and more. Hot tub was wonderful. Robes and slippers for hot tub very nice. House is close to road and traffic can be loud, but a no so much in the evening. I would stay here again.

Nice place, but a bit noisy due to road traffic

The place is really nice with a Jacuzzi, large covered patio, comfortable beds with fans! However, I had trouble finding and accessing messages from the owner that she sent through VRBO. All previous hosts had communicated directly with me via text or emails (which is simple and reliable). I called VRBO service when I got no text or emails from this owner, and they sent me a text stating how to get into the house, but no more info. Via text, she told me that the detailed info for guests was in PDF form in my VRBO messages, which I had difficulty finding and then accessing. I requested she simply email it to me which she did not do. I eventually found & got the PDF doc but it was quite frustrating. I still wonder why she wouldn't email the doc to me. Another issue was that it is located right along a 2 lane highway so that passing vehicles were rather loud when in either of the 2 front bedrooms.

This property has everything you could need, it is beautiful stocked. The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only challenges are the road noise is loud in the 2 front bedrooms and the water pressure isn’t great. However, overall it was an ideal stay.

Very cute cottage which was very clean. Love all the decorations! The kitchen was well stocked with treats, drinks, and everything you would need. There were toys for the kids, board games to play, and robes to wear out to the hot tub. They thought of everything!

Clean, Comfortable, Cozy, & Convenient

Well lit up and easy to spot driving in at night. This is just an extra thoughtful feature. This place is spotless and so peaceful. We were staying here because we had a wedding to attend. We highly recommend it. Conversations with our host were very pleasant. Not a single disappointment here. We wished we had more days to stay. The beds were SO comfortable.

We had a great time but I do have to note the following: 1. It is right off of the highway and there was traffic noises at night 2. Guests were expected to clean or they will be charged a fee That said, the amenities were beyond the price we paid. Tasha was extremely helpful and reaponsive.

This is a lovely home with many personal welcoming touches to make guests feel comfortable. From decorations to kitchen and bathroom accommodations, the owner has been thoughtful and put time and effort into this BnB. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathroom. The location was good being between the town of Lexington and Natural Bridge, and easy access to many locations to visit in the area. The only down side was being right off a busy road.

My husband Brian and I renovated this Buffalo Bend Cottage so visiting guests like you could experience our amazing area close enough to the most popular Lexington and surrounding area attractions while being on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle. We are both self employed; I'm a professional cleaner and he's a professional HVAC installation and Service Technician, and together we can accomplish most anything. We love our area; fishing, hiking, swimming, kayaking, and our current hobby - riding Indian motorcycles, and we invite you to be our guest so you and yours can make memories of your very own.

A property where 5 miles in one direction has you in downtown Lexington and 5 miles the other direction has you admiring the beautiful countryside of Rockbridge County, nestled at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near many other hidden gem attractions. We are centrally located near most the top attractions that bring tourists and visitors to Lexington and surrounding areas. Whether it's the Zoo, Safari Park, Washington & Lee University, Virginia Military Institute, breweries, hiking, kayaking, biking, golfing - Buffalo Bend is just minutes away! We welcome YOU to be our guest.

Not only do guests have access to the entire 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage with awesome front porch seating, a separate covered pavilion with additional outdoor seating and propane fire pit, but we ALSO have creek front property. How awesome is it to walk across the street and be in nature! The Buffalo creek flows directly in front of the house, across Rt. 11. Take a stroll around the property, hike around, dip your toes in the water and admire the random wildlife the wooded area and waterway offers. Remember: Soak it in, Relax, Unwind, and Rejuvenate during your stay!
