Itâs a beautiful cabin in the woods, exactly what we wanted. It is also 10 minutes away from Lexington. We highly recommend this place and hope to stay again soon.
We had a fantastic stay! The cabin is very cozy, comfortable, and well stocked. We really appreciated that there were some coffee pods, snacks, and, condiments available. The property is very special and it was just what we were looking for - very quiet and secluded. Dave and Susan were very responsive and we definitely plan to return.
We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin in the beautiful Virginia woods. It was such a cozy, comfortable place to enjoy a winter weekend. Its close proximity to Lexington made it even better. We hope to visit again and see this beautiful place in another season. An all around 5 star experience!
We spent three days at the cabin. It was everything we'd hoped for. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and cozy. Bathrooms were well-stocked, and the bed was so comfortable! Our hosts went above and beyond to fulfill my husband's request for local flowers for our anniversary.
This was our 5th stay at Dave and Susan's cabin; I'm not sure what more to say! It's consistently absolutely wonderful. We've never had issues with anything, ever. Consistently clean, fresh flowers, snacks, all the kitchen appliances and pans you'd need, toiletries, etc. Beds and furniture are comfortable and the linens are luxurious. Host communication is highly accessible but not over the top. Just hands down a fantastic place to stay, every single time.
We absolutely loved our stay!! The cabin was beautiful and completely private stuck in the middle of the woods. Everything about the cabin was wonderful.
Lovely house. Secluded and private. Easy check in and check out. Very clean at check in, plenty of towels, soap, dishes, etc. Huge deck with nice views of the woods. Kitchen had everything you needed. Internet was fast enough for streaming. Comfortable quality furniture.
A Perfect Anniversary Getaway at The Cabin at Oak Tree FarmWe thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Cabin at Oak Tree Farm â it was the perfect setting to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm, thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra special. The cabin itself is beautifully maintained, with upgraded amenities and everything exceptionally clean. We especially appreciated the neutral, fresh scent throughout â no overpowering fragrances, just clean comfort. The breakfast nook was cozy and charming, a great spot to start the day, while the deck with its relaxing swing offered peaceful views of the surrounding nature.Privacy was clearly a priority in the design of the property. We felt completely tucked away, yet surrounded by the beauty of wildlife â we spotted deer, coyotes, and other animals throughout our stay, which made it feel even more delightful. One of our favorite spots was the quiet sitting room just outside the primary suite â a serene place to unwind in the evening or catch up on work throughout the day.We canât wait to come back. This cabin is a true gem, and weâre already looking forward to our next visit!

Home was perfect. A perfect stay in the woods. Communications were great, and the host left some snacks and drink. Home was very clean and the area is so peaceful. I would come back again without question.
We always enjoy our stay at the cabin in the woods. We feel at home there and have great communication with the owners. During our last stay we saw deer and a fox on the property. Nature at its best and still close to city amenities!
