Pros:
* Easy drive to Disney
* Open floor plan feels spacious
* Beds very comfortable
Cons:
* Garbage left in the garage causing the house to smell. We also had to ask a neighbor if we could put the garbage in their can because the one outside was full and the garbage collectors won't take it unless it's in a can. Garbage should always be taken care of before the arrival of the next guest!
*There were bugs! Tons of little bugs in the kitchen on the counters - all day every day. We didn't feel like we could leave anything out so we kept things in bins.
*Property was dirty upon arrival. In addition to the trash being left by the last tennant, the house was dirty. There was hot sauce stuck to the table, when we vacuumed the house it had definitely not been done before we arrived as there was tons of dirt and hair, the pool area had glow sticks and deflated balloons ALL over! Even in the pool! We had to go out and buy cleaning products to clean before we could even begin our stay. This caused us distress and precious vacation time.
*The screen on the back door was completely busted as were most of the screens surrounding the pool.
Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. Even more disappointing was the host blaming the mess on us. If you ever stay at any VRBO make sure to report all problems the moment you arrive!
I am not one to leave negative reviews however this stay was horrible!
We walked in to the house on a Sunday evening after driving all day to a smell that was TERRIBLE. It smelled like something had died in the house. We finally discovered it was from the garage that had overflowing trash bags of food on the floor of the garage and spilling out of the can (in 95+ degree weather). I called the property manager, Melissa who responded right away and she told me she would have someone address it the next day. I went and bought about a dozen candles and air fresheners to try to mask the smell.
The next day comes and goes and still no removal of the trash. I contacted the manager again, she again apologized, thanked me for my patience, and stated it would be addressed the next day. This continued all week. I contacted her daily and was promised it would be remedied.
Trash was not picked up until Thurs the regular trash day (the night before our departure). The smell was so bad all week we could not stay in the house during the day or eat meals in the house.
The house itself was very dirty. The carpets had not been vacuumed. There was trash on the floors and under the dining tables, crumbs on tables and chairs.
I rented this place mainly for the pool/spa. The pool was full of bugs and did not look clean so we did not use it.
The dishwasher was disgusting with at least 10 years of brown grime on the knobs. The garbage disposal was not working so the water would just fill the sink and not drain. The refrigerator froze the food.
There were bugs in the house and what looked like a bed bug in the Harry Potter bed.
There are so many issues with this place and I offered to reach out privately to the property manager Melissa, expecting the main problem, THE SMELLY TRASH sitting in the garage from other people, to be addressed promptly.
This was such a disappointing stay. This previous visitor's trash should have been removed before we even arrived so we wouldn't have had to deal with it.
There was a sign stating that trash needed to be taken out on Thursday and had to fit in the can otherwise it would not be picked up. However this was a Sun-Thurs stay, how can you leave other's trash for the next renters??
I finally reached out to VRBO who reported it to their health and safety department and I am waiting to hear back.

I have rented with vrbo over the past 10 years and have never has such an awful experience.
