Lake Lure is BACK! After a long and arduous journey of recovery from Hurricane Helene, our beautiful mountain lake is ready for the 2026 season. Please consider our home as your explore the options in the area. The town and surrounding community are eager to accommodate you - your visit helps our businesses thrive!

The best of treehouse and lakefront living! Charming cottage located on beautiful Lake Lure surrounded by trees in a relaxed and peaceful setting. The home is located conveniently near a local supermarket, restaurants, and Chimney Rock State Park. This cozy abode has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Knotty pine-wood walls and ceilings, hardwood floors, and 2 gas fireplaces grace this getaway.

**If you have mobility or endurance concerns, note there 100 steps down to the lake.

Upon entering, you will find 2 bedrooms: one has a queen-sized bed, the other has a set of log style bunk beds. The bathroom has a tub and shower. The large kitchen has plenty of counter space and is filled with all the amenities. It is open to the living room which features a gas fireplace, and the dining room has a rustic style wood table that can seat up to 8 people. A flat screened television hangs above the mantel and can be viewed from the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Off of the kitchen is an outdoor deck with a gas grill and beautiful views. The lower-level bedroom suite sports a private bath, gas fireplace, TV and sofa. **This home has stairs, so please take note if this is a concern.

Beyond the lower suite is a screened porch and a deck with a variety of seating. Walk down the stairs to our large firepit patio (supply your own firewood - buy locally at Ingles Supermarket and elsewhere).

Continue down the stairs to the boathouse and dock. Use our two-person kayak or flat-top kayak/paddleboard, a variety of floats, or just take a swim. Try some fishing off the dock (NC fishing license required).

Please note that security cameras are located at the front door and inside the boathouse. These devices are strictly for monitoring security and should not invade guests’ privacy.
