This light and bright fully remodeled 1940s home is full of charm and all you need for an enjoyable stay. Skylights, French doors and windows abound, allowing for plenty of light and a cheerful ambiance throughout this lovely two-story home.

The upstairs bedrooms have new mattresses and organic cotton linens, and each has a walk-in closet. The main bedroom also offers a sitting area for enjoying a movie on DVD with surround sound.

The private deck off the kitchen and the large windows in the downstairs office overlook a large, level backyard. Within walking distance you'll find restaurants, cafés, bakeries, groceries, and parks, as well as the Amazon biking trail. Enjoy a morning stroll to Provisions South neighborhood eatery for breakfast!

Sad to leave

This is a wonderful place: great neighborhood on a fairly quiet street, easy walk to excellent restaurants, markets, and just about anything one could want. The house is very comfortable with great light, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a world class shower. Also plenty of off-street parking as well as a single car garage. The hosts were very friendly and quick to reply to questions. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Home base while visiting family

We used the property as a home base while visiting our son. We enjoyed meals, playing games, and going for walks. We loved the comfortable decor and the 2 spacious bedrooms. Would definitely recommend.

Charming home in a great Eugene location

We visited Eugene to see our college student and attend a Ducks football game. Karin is a fantastic host. The house is warm and welcoming with all the amenities you need. The house instructions were clear and communication with Karin was excellent. We realized we had forgotten an important item after we checked out. Karin graciously went to the house, found the item and made sure we were able to retrieve it. The house is well located near Amazon parkway, several restaurants and grocery stores. It is a short drive to campus and the stadium. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfection, down to the last detail!

Y'all- look no further. This is the most convenient, clean, easy to use, light, bright property I have ever rented. From the thoughtful hook ijust in the right place for the shower, to the easy to use door code system, to the lovely quiet location just a short walk from Albertsons/Starbucks, it was the perfect respite from a busy Ducks weekend. Bright and cheery paint colors, a quiet office nook, and lovely back yard make this an extra special rental. Karin is super communicative and responsive. 5 stars!

Unpack the Quack hospitality

We were staying for two nights to move our son into the university of Oregon as a freshman. Location was great and they left a nice note and bottle of sparkling cider out for us as they knew why we were coming. Very kind touch for a nervous and emotional mom!❤️

Eugene stay

We were in town for a wedding. It was my husband, myself, daughter and niece so it was perfect for our group. We weren't at the house much but it met our needs. Very cute and clean inside. We did get littles nervous when we 1st pulled up with the way the yard in the area were taken xare of.

Bright and cozy house in a great location

This is a charming house with a refreshing open airy feeling. The layout made it easy for 2 adults to cook, work, and relax without getting in each other's way. The location is convenient with groceries, restaurants, and the bike path nearby. A quiet neighborhood, too. Really loved the clear house instructions and the kitchen well-stocked with the right utensils. It was also fun to have a piano in the house!

Charming Eugene Home

I had a lovely stay at this charming property when visiting Eugene! The hosts made the check-in very easy and the property was as described. The beds were comfortable and they also provided clean ingredient shampoos and soap in case you forgot your own! I would definitely return to and recommend it!

Eugene stay

We had the most amazing stay! The home was spacious, clean, and stocked with everything we needed for a week in Eugene. We were very close to Hayward field for the Olympic trials and there were excellent walking trails and restaurants close by that were easily accessible. Karin was an amazing host, providing a thoughtful gift basket and recommendations in the area. We loved our stay and are so glad we stayed here. Thank you Karin!

The house was lovely.

The property was as advertised, clean and well appointed. My grandson and I came to Eugene for the NCAA track championship and it was a quick trip to the track. Everything was great the first day and night. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy our visit as much as we had planned because I got sick and ended up visiting the emergency room and spent 3 days in bed with COVID. Thank you for letting us stay with you.

Perfect Fit for us!

My daughter and I were in town for the Nike Nationals track meet. This property was a perfect fit for us to call home for the week! We both had our own space in the two bedrooms. The two full baths made it nice for her to get ready in one, while I showered in the other. The kitchen had just what we needed for the week. Washer and dryer in the garage area was perfect to keep on top of laundry. Loved the proximity to Albertsons at the end of the block for grocery shopping and I was able to enjoy morning walks on the walking paths accessible at the end of the street. Thanks for everything!

Home away from home

This stay was one of the most comfortable and cozy homes I’ve experienced. The house was darling, the hosts were very communicative and thoughtful (we received a welcome basket), and every amenity we needed was available. There was a grocery store right down the street. We were staying during an ice storm, so walking to the store was so convenient! We will absolutely use this host again when we return to the area next year!

This was our third stay at this property, needless to say we love it! Everything is well thought out in terms of using the space. We especially love the upstairs room with a generous and practical closet, comfortable bed, and plenty of natural light.

Good location for Amazon Pool

Place was neat and clean and as advertised. Large skylight over master bed made it dificult to sleep past sunrise. Kitchen was well equipped except for difficult to control toaster. Bathrooms were clean and neat. Steep steps to upstairs rooms could be an issue for older adults.

Richard and Karin have lived in Eugene for most of their lives. We love all that Eugene and the surrounding area have to offer a family: city parks, festivals, concerts, sports events, and easy access to hiking and biking trails, rivers, mountain lakes, the coast and camping. While we have also traveled and lived abroad, we find that Eugene is the best place to call home.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The house is well situated in desirable South Eugene. It's a short bike ride to the U of O campus or downtown, an easy walk to nearby bakeries and cafés, and a short drive to Mt. Pisgah for a morning hike. There are three natural grocery stores and three city parks within a mile.
