Come join us at “The Sand Bucket”. We are located at 405 Fourth Street N in the upper apartment. The Sand Bucket is a great location only four blocks to the beach, Carolina Beach’s famous Boardwalk and Britts donuts. The Sand Bucket was remodeled in 2023. The Sand Bucket has a queen bed in the bedroom, one bath and a fully equipped kitchen. The Sand Bucket love’s pets so Fido is welcome. Pet fee is $50/ dog with a maximum of two dogs.There is High speed WiFi and a smart TV. The Sand Bucket patio includes a gas grill in case you want to cook out. Also a shared fenced courtyard. Bring your boat! The Ample parking on site allows for parking a boat. Carolina Beach boast two boat ramps for easily launching of a boat for fishing or recreation!

Perfect MDW!

The Sandbucket is a perfect place for just you and one other! The yard has all been re-done and is extremely nice. About a 10 min walk to all the restaurants, boardwalk and beach! We really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Quiet safe neighborhood- perfect

Perfect for me and my dog. I really enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was. Our family reunion was down there and after long days on the beach and other things we did, perfect to come back relax.

Would stay here again!

Very clean, well maintained. Kitchen is well equipped. Owners are very thoughtful, supplying items like coffee filters, baggies, hand soap is appreciated. Property is just as described, within walking distance to beach, boardwalk and restaurants.

Peaceful!

The place is super clean and convenient to most everything you could want in CB. Short walk to the boardwalk and many restaurants. Owners were helpful and very nice. They also gave an excellent sight seeing tip for our trip into Wilmington. Looking forward to another stay!

Distance from beach

Cottage was lovely. Distance to beach was about 1/4 mile. We utilized Golf Cart Taxi service and it was very convenient to get around without searching for expensive parking.

Anniversary getaway

This is the cutest place for a couple to stay. Extremely close to board walk with great restaurants and beach. Very clean. Nice fenced in area for your dog. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will book this place in the future visits to Carolina Beach. Thanks for a great anniversary getaway

Super clean. Quiet neighborhood. Good location, within walking distance to a few restaurants. Comfortable bed. Upper unit has a lot of parking. Probaby enough room for a boat and trailer.

It’s just a cute little one bedroom apartment, perfect for a weekend get away. There are several steps up to the apartment if you have mobility issues.

Very Cozy, Clean and Great Location!

We were happy with our stay. The room was simple, but very cozy and clean. As far as location, we were very close to plenty to eat, the boardwalk and just a short trip to several beach access. Suzanne was great with communication! Made us feel welcome and was even understanding about a mix-up with our pets. Great value for how long we stayed. Especially in the summer. Thumbs up from me! 👍😄

Amazing, dog-friendly stay

We loved our stay at the Sand Bucket! As stated on the listing, it is an upstairs rental and the downstairs is a separate rental with a shared fenced in yard. The first night, nobody was staying downstairs, so it was nice to be able to let our dog out without worrying about that. The second night we introduced ourselves to the downstairs renters who also had a dog and all was fine from there. The VRBO itself was very nice and clean! It was small but perfect for two people (maybe 2 adults and a small child). It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach but was a very quiet neighborhood so we enjoyed that. I would recommend bringing a wagon or something to make carrying stuff to the beach easier. Only negatives were they didn’t provide soap for the shower or a hair dryer so be prepared with those things when you come! Overall it was an amazing stay and we would 100% stay there again!

Great Location

This little apartment was very clean and quiet. The bedroom did get warm at night, but we liked the abundance of natural light from all the windows. We especially enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and boardwalk instead of trying to find parking. Our first morning we were a bit dismayed to discover that the kitchen did not include coffee filters for the coffee maker, though. A few pantry staples (sugar packets, salt & pepper) would have been helpful, too. Overall, a great place to stay!

Great location! Adorable and clean rental!

My husband and I stayed in this rental for a quick weekend getaway to the NC coast. The second floor rental was very clean and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location was great as we walked everywhere to avoid paying for parking. The only note of concern is the stairs leading up to the 2nd floor. My husband is a big guy at 6’3”, 240 lbs, and the stairs would sway a bit when he walked up or down them. We would just take turns going up and down them to be safe. Not a big deal but a larger elderly person, who may not be as nimble, might feel nervous. Otherwise, a wonderful property and we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing little getaway!

We loved our stay, the property was amazing and the location was great to walk to everything we wanted to do! The property manager was also very easy to get in contact with. Will definitely stay here again. The only reason I gave a 4 star for accuracy of online listing is that both me and my best friend missed the fact that it was a split level property that shared an outdoor space when reading the property details. I brought my dog and he is anxious and doesn’t like small dogs so we couldn’t use the yard at all as there was someone downstairs with 2 small dogs. I just think it’s a little dangerous to share a yard with strangers dogs since you never know how dogs will react to each other, but we didn’t run into any issues with the dogs thank goodness and now that we know we can prepare for it next time, especially since it’s such a nice outdoor space!

perfect for two people

this location is amazing! you’re right by the beach and the CB boardwalk with tons of amazing restaurants nearby. the unit is small so I wouldn’t book IF it’s more than two people but it had everything we needed. there is a possibility that you could be there at the same time as someone in the lower unit with loud dogs. the first two days their dogs barked nonstop every time they left, but it was under control after that. we coexisted just fine. I highly recommend staying here if you desire to be close to all of the festivities in carolina beach. the only thing I could recommend for the owners is to leave a swiffer mop for the guests due to how easily the sand transfers onto the floor. we swept a lot but sometimes it’s difficult to get it all. thank you for allowing us to stay! we enjoyed it very much and would love to stay again!

Perfect Little Getaway

This little apartment had everything we needed for our first visit to Carolina Beach. The host was always responsive and we did not have any issues with getting in around 11 PM when we arrived. We did have a little dog with us and the fenced in backyard area was great for him to be outside with us. The listing said up to 3 people but it would be a tighter feel if we had another body with us to move around. Only con was the shower being very small but it serves its purpose! The location was just a few blocks from the main beach area and an easy walk to and from the beach and boardwalk. Past reviews that I read had mentioned not having enough basics in the kitchen and no laundry. It seems like the host really cares what guests say because we had all of the basics needed to cook a few meals in the apartment and complete a load of laundry. I always enjoy reviews that share exactly what can be found in the apartment especially in the kitchen so for those of you like me, here is what we experienced: -Laundry is a compact washer and dryer that is in an outside closet in the corner of the backyard next to the downstairs apartment entry door. Need your own detergent and supplies. -Kitchen had a compact stove and oven, full fridge, microwave, air fryer, coffee maker, toaster, cups, bowls, utensils, cutting board, 5+ pots/pans, small baking sheet, couple serving bowls, salt, pepper, coffee filters, dish soap, sponge, etc. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay!

Great Weekend Getaway

Small one-bedroom apartment perfect for one or two people for a weekend beach getaway. Property was clean and neighboorhood felt like a safe area. Short walk away from the town/beach area. Would definitely come back here again!
