Bearly A View is a recently built 4 bedroom 4 1/2 bath cabin in the Lake Lure community of Riverbend. The cabin is situated on a slight rise of land with the front door around the opposite side from the driveway. There is a side stairway with 20 steps leading to the front door. Once inside the cabin, you can go downstairs and open the double doors at the drive to off load your luggage. As soon as you walk in, you will feel right at home. Rustic feel with a modern vibe fills every space of this home. The kitchen boasts top of the line small and large appliances and offers everything you need to prepare a family meal or a simple breakfast for two. For the coffee lovers, there are three coffee makers available at the cabin - K Cup, Nespresso, and a drip coffee maker. A gas grill is located on the deck near the screened porch. The living room is located on the main level and it is open to the kitchen and dining, making it a great space for entertaining. The 4 bedrooms, each with en suite bathrooms, are tastefully decorated and offer top of the line All Natural Red Land Cotton linens*. Whether you enjoy watching movies, sports, or simply want to have a conversation, the family room with a pool table located in the walk-out basement is a great space for the family complete with a pull out sofa. An office area in the upstairs loft offers space for the traveling professionals with beautiful winter mountain views as well as a futon sleeper. Best part of a relaxing vacation can only be complete by soaking in the hot tub. The two private lakes in the community give you access to a sandy beach area, swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding, and more (no motor boats are allowed). Please note: This is a 3 story cabin with a full flight of stairs between each floor. If you have difficulty with stairs, this may not be the cabin for you.
Riverbend is a gated community. All roads in the community are packed gravel. 4WD vehicles are not necessary, but highly recommended if you feel uncomfortable navigating mountain roads. This is a dog only friendly home. Up to 2 house trained dogs will be allowed into the home. A non refundable $75 pet fee plus tax will be added to the total of your reservation if you choose to bring your dog(s) with you. Guest(s) must notify at time of booking if bringing pets.
