Beautiful 3bedroom house, walk to St. Charles Ave and G. District,.
Beautiful 3 bedroom 1940's house, centrally located in the Central City neighborhood. Renovated in 2021 with historic and modern touches & features, all-new everything and excellent WI-FI service.
Located 4 blocks from the St. Charles Streetcar line, walking distance to the Garden District-Magazine St neighborhoods and all the history and music New Orleans has to offer. Steps away from many great bars, coffee shop, numerous restaurants located on renowned St. Charles Ave.
The property was just as it is described. It was comfortable, very convenient for where we needed to be and a quiet neighborhood. The owner was extremely flexible as we had to extend our stay twice, thankfully it was no problem and owner was very responsive. We would certainly stay here again.
The beds and couch were quite comfy! A quick 5 - 6 block walk to lots of options! Uber wait times are super quick! Love the high ceilings and art work. A lovely weekend girls' trip was excellent!
We had a great time. Second floor apartment- everything was comfortable and cute. Stayed with my daughters and my parents and everyone had enough space. Made dinner a few times, no problem! We would come again.
We travelled to New Orleans for a long weekend. This place was perfect for us, since everyone got their own bed, couples got their own room, plus a room for kids. Just a short walk to the St. Charles streetcar line, so we didn't have to bother taking our car into the French Quarter. We appreciated having a dining room for a few order-in meals together, and we loved having a balcony! A very comfy, lovely, and clean space!

Clean but not a "house"
This unit was advertised as "Beautiful 3bedroom house" showing pictures of the front of a blue house (2 stories), long indoor staircase, and kitchen/bedrooms/livingroom. As it was being advertised as a house for rent that is what we were expecting.
Please note however it is not a house for rent, it is the upstairs apartment above a commercial business. Only the second floor apartment is what is actually being rented in this "Beautiful 3bedroom house". So if you're expecting that you are renting a full house please be aware that it is fact the upstairs apartment.
The apartment however was clean, AC worked great. Check in was easy. The second floor porch was nice to hang out on once the sun was low in the sky. The neighborhood is not one you want to be walking around in after dark. Uber was super easy to Bourbon St.
Overall, once getting past that it's not a "3bedroom house" but an 3BR apartment, we found things that are nice about it.
The neighborhood isnât the greatest, and while my sister and I lived in New Orleans and are used to neighborhoods with a combination of nice homes next to places that are boarded up, some family members were anxious about the location. All was fine, but hearing gun shots a couple blocks away on NYE wasnât something I was used to. We ended up coming in off the balcony early.
We planned to cook some meals and were disappointed in the lack of some basic kitchen itemsâno pot holders, no mixing bowls. There was a wash cloth for dishes, but no drying rack or kitchen towels so we could wash things if neededâthereâs a dishwasher, but it was difficult to wash a few items if needed.
The beds, couch and dining areas were spacious and comfortable. The pillows on the beds were flat. It was nice having a washer/dryer available.
It was much better than staying in a hotel. If I wasnât planning on cooking, I would stay again (and bring pillows from home).
The stay was nice, the front big bedroom was really hot and there was a shattered perfume bottle in the carpet. Everything else was good. Neighborhood is a little dicey.
